Nilingon ko ang isang worker na tinawag ako mula sa site. Sumunod ako sa kanya para i-receive ang solar panels. The subdivision will make use of the said panels dahil it will cut off a lot of energy expenses. Tipid sa kuryente.
"Dito nalang, Ma'am." Itinuro ang babang parte ng papel sa akin para pumirma. I signed it and instructed them to take in inside.
We are done with the roofing so we can install them next. For the next weeks after our vacation, it has been pure work for Marcus and I. He became busier dahil malapit na raw matapos ang extension ng hospital nila. We didn't go out much because of our sched but he would visit and make time. That was enough for me because I understand his work, it was really tiring and it consumes a lot of time. But he never fails to communicate properly which made us stable.
After my site inspection, bumalik ako sa VSC dahil magkakaroon ng meeting. When I reached VSC, naroon na si Thea sa conference room kaya tumabi ako sa kanya.
"Hi, bebe. Inaalagaan ka ba ng Mommy mo?" I touched her tummy. Her baby bump's a bit obvious now.
"Syempre naman 'no? Puro residential na nga lang ang balak kong tanggapin pagtapos ng leisure place." Sabi niya. "Tsaka baka mamiss mo ako kapag nag-maternity leave na ako." Tumawa siya ng kaunti.
"Kelan ba?" Inip na tanong ko.
"5th month pa. Ayaw ko nga sana kaso ayaw rin paawat ni Matthew." She pouted. Agad naman akong nagalit sa sinabi niya.
"Thea, 'wag na matigas ulo mo." Irap ko sa kanya.
"Yes, boss." Sabi niya at sumaludo pa sa akin.
The meeting was about a new merger between VSC and Gandler Corporations. Anchor Way Travels was also in the said meeting since co-owner na sila ng Gandler. Tita Stella was in the meeting, too. Nagbeso kami ni Thea sa kanya before the meeting started.
"Meeting adjourned."
Agad na nagsilabasan ang karamihan sa mga empleyado pero lumapit muna kami kay Tita Stella na kausap si Engr. Vallerie. Nagpaalam kami bago lumabas at bumalik sa office namin ni Thea.
"Uuwi ka na?" Tanong ni Thea habang inaayos ko ang laptop ko.
"Oo. May aattendan akong debut."
