After Class with snape I was utterly shocked. He knew, he knew exactly what Remus was and yet, here he was, jumping forward in our curriculum to purposely teach the class about Werewolves.
Probably hoping someone would piece together what Remus was.
"It's ridiculous, messing with Moony's lessons like that. If anybody had messed with Snapes plans he'd have their heads on a spike." I huffed as Harry and I left the classroom, Ron and Hermione not far behind.
"It's only a class Aura, no need to get you knickers in a twist." Ron replied, rolling his eyes at my over reaction.
"Not the point." I snapped, spinning to look at him. "And don't ever talk about my knickers you idiot."
"Come on Rory, it'll be OK." Harry tried to calm me but I just huffed and shrugged.
"I'm going to see Remus, see if he's feeling better." I announced, turning away and walking off, leaving them to carry on with their day.
Once I made it to Remus's room I knocked and opened the door to see him lying in bed, looking absolutely knackered.
"Hey Moony." I whispered softly and walked over, climbing on the bed and lying next to him. "Figured you could use a hug from your little Pup."
"Pup hugs are always appreciated, but Rory hugs are better." Moony mumbled as he shuffled closer and wrapped his arm around me, allowing me to hug him. "So what's bothering you Rory."
"How did you know somethings bothering me?"
"I've known you 13 years, 12 of which I've cared for you alone...I know you. So what's wrong?"
"Snivellus. The prat had us reading up on Werewolves today, got a lot of homework to do." I hugged, feeling myself grow angry again.
"Really?" He sighed, running a hand through his messy hair.
"You see what he's doing, don't you?" I asked, looking up and my godfather who nodded, smiling sadly.
"I do." He nodded gloomily.
"I'm sorry Moony, it sucks I can't help you." I sighed, resting my head on his shoulder carefully, knowing he'd be in pain still.
"Your hugs are help enough little pup."
And with that I smiled softly, staying by my godfathers side the rest of the night, most of it was spent him telling me stories. Some spent doing my homework from Snape and the rest was spent in dog form, curled up at the bottom of his bed, sleeping softly, until I had to go back to my dorm.
*The Next Day*
The weather today was horrendous. strong winds, heavy rain, freezing temperatures.
And yet, there was STILL a Quidditch game happening.
I was sat in the stands, beside Ron, Hermione and Neville, cheering loudly while doing everything I could to keep warm. That included cuddling up to Hermione who was just as cold.
I had in my regular muggle clothes, as well as one of Harry's Quidditch shirts I had stolen a while back, a good way to support my best friend while still stealing his clothes. I was also bundled up in my hat, scarf and gloves, my legs shaking from the cold rain around me.
My eyes were glued to Harry, watching as he raced against Cedric Diggory, the Hufflepuff seeker, to catch snitch.
They disappeared behind the clouds and I waited anxiously for them, mostly Harry, to come back into view.
However when I next saw my bestfriend...my crush, he was free falling, quickly.
Luckily Dumbledore was quick enough to catch him and so with wide eyes I stood up and I ran, as fast as I could, to the pitch entrance where Harry was being carried off.
"Ah, Miss lupin, would you be so kind as to accompany us to hospital wing?" Dumbledore asked as he spotted me, knowing smile on his face. I nodded furiously and followed behind the Professor to the hospital wing, where I spent the next few hour, watch over Harry.
Pretty soon the whole Quidditch team, Ron, Hermione, Neville and Lee Jordan had turned up, talking loudly as I just sat, my eyes glued to the unconscious boy.
"How you holding up Rory?" Hermione asked as she lent over and placed a hand over my shoulder.
"Just worried about Harry." I smiled sadly at her, before looking back at Harry.
"He looks a bit peaky, doesn't he?." Ron commented as he looked over his best friend.
"Peaky? what do you expect? He fell well over a hundred feet." Fred reminded him, looking at his little brother like he was stupid.
"Yeah come on Ron, let's walk you off the astronomy tower, see what you look." George sassed, making me smile a little when I looked up at him.
"Probably a right site better than he normally does." A groggy voice spoke and my head instantly snapped towards the groggy boy, who was trying to sit up.
"Harry!" Ron exclaimed loudly, earning himself a smack from Hermione and I, hushing him.
"How are you feeling?" I rushed, turning back to Harry, taking his hand in mine.
"Oh, brilliant." harry nodded, sarcastically, a small smile on his face, letting me know he was actually OK.
"You gave us a right good scare there mate." George commented, moving to sit on the seat beside the bed, making Harry nod, smiling apologetically.
"What happened?"
"Well, you fell off your broom." Ron answered quickly."
"Really?" Harry sassed, standing and eye roll to Ron.
"I think he ment the game Ronald."
It suddenly got really quiet until Hermione spoke, standing up from her spot on the bed.
"No blames you Harry." The dementors aren't supposed to come inside the grounds, Dumbledore was furious. As soon as he saved you, he sent them all straight off." Hermione explained softly, obviously not wanting to upset Harry.
"There's erm, something else you should know as well." Ron added, looking down at the blanket in his arms, the blanket that was wrapped around Harry's broken broom.
"When you fell, your broom, it erm..sort of blew into the whomping willow... and...well." he spoke nervously, holding up the broken piece of broom.
I looked back at Harry to see his face fell. He loved his broom. Playing was his absolute favourite thing about being a wizard. I knew that.
"I'm sorry Harry." I muttered, lifing his hand and holding it to my cheek, hoping to give him at least a little bit of comfort. Harry looked over at me and his green eyes met mine and instantly his smiled, his face growing a little pinker as he blushed.
After a few more hour Harry was allowed to leave and the others and I took him back to the common room where we all went our separate ways, heading to bed after a long, stressful day.
