It had been a few day since my dad had gotten away and Remus had resigned from is post as DADA Professor.

I wasn't angry at him, I understood why he was going, I was just sad I won't have him around next year, when school starts up again. Harry was sad to see him go, but he too understood.

The morning we had all packed to leave, Harry and I arrived at the great hall to a rather expensive surprise.

There, in the middle of the Gryffindor table as two unwrapped, thanks to the Weasley boys, parcels.

One, a brand new a Fireblot, was for Harry, who seemed pretty excited to be in possession of the fastest broom in the world.

The second parcel was for me.

Inside sat a brand new leather jacket and a necklace with a small black paw print on the heart pendant.

"Who are they from?" Harry asked as he watched me pull my robe off, revealing my slightly messy uniform An untucked shirt, rolled up skirt, (because otherwise is was far to long) and a pair of converse. My tie was loosely tied and tucked under my collar and my hair was brushed into a mess of black curls.

"There was no note...just this." Hermione spoke, holding up a large grey feather which Harry and I immediately recognised as Buckbeaks.

"They're from Pad's!" I whispered excitedly as I pulled my leather jacket on over my uniform, breathing in the new leather smell.

"How do I look?" I smirked when I saw Harry staring at me, mouth open a little.

"Great, like always." He grinned, leaning down and kissing my lips quickly.

"Ok, go, play on your broomstick, I've got some last minute packing to do." I shooed the boys away, picking up my robes and heading out of the great hall, catching a glimpse of a smiling Dumbledore has something to Professor Mcgonagall who was smirking as they watched me leave.

In no time at all, the whole school was sitting on the moving train, that was hurtling towards london, where our families would be waiting for us.

Ron and Harry were sat playing games and talking about their summer, while Hermione and I sat reading. Hermione beside Ron, her knees curled up to her chest, while I was sat with my back against the wall next to the window, my feet thrown over Harry's lap, his hand resting on my knees as he talked.

My attention was taken in by my book, I didn't even notice the time fly by, or that when had pulled into the station, so when I felt a tap on my knee, I jumped a little to see a smiling Harry.

"We're home." He smiled softly and I looked around to see Ron and Hermione grabbing their things.

I quickly stood up, straightening my top, now that I was in muggle clothes again and my leather jacket.

Hermione and Ron both tuck it in turned at say their goodbyes before disappearing, leaving Harry and I to grab our own things before making our way off of the train.

I stepped off the train, Harry's hand in mine as we wondered down the platform, my eyes scanning the crowd for Remus.

"You're gonna write to me right?" I asked, looking up at him as we walked.

"Definitely," he nodded, grinning down at me. "Besides, I'll probably see you at the Weasley's later on in the summer right?"

"I'm not sure, with my dad in hiding and Remus out of work, I'm thinking I might just stay close to home." I shrugged. Harry's smile fell a fraction, but I lent up and kissed his cheek. "I'll see what I can do."
