It had been a few weeks since the start of school and nothing much of interest happened.

Except maybe the announcement of The Tri-Wizard Tournament.

And the Arrival of 2 other schools. Beauxbatons Academy Of Magic, a small french school and Durmstrang Institute up North... it wasn't really specified how far north they were from.

The rules for entering the tournament was quite simple. You had to be 17 or older to enter. If your name is picked, you have to take park, so if entering, you had to be sure you were ready to participate.

Each school would have 1 champion who would compete in three extremely dangerous tasks and at the end would be granted 'eternal glory'.

To enter you only need to write your name on a piece of parchment and place it in the Goblet of fire.

For two... maybe three weeks, almost every student over the age of 17 put their name in the Goblet and waited anxiously for the names to be drawn.

In that time however, we had out first DADA with Professor Moody, where he had taken it upon himself to teach us all about the unforgiving Curses.

The imperius Curse- know for giving the curser the ability to control their victims minds, making them do what ever they are told to do.

The Cruciatus Curse - Know for coursing unimaginable amount of pain, used by dark wizards as means of torture.

And the Killing Curse- known for exactly what it named for... the killing of another.

The lesson was dreadful, tense and by the end of it every student looked absolutely terrifying.

All except Neville who looked damn right broken after watching the Cruciatus Curse being used on the spider.

Finally the day arrived when the names were pulled out and surprise, surprise... the unexpected happened.

From Durmstrang - Victor Krum. This earned a loud, boisterous cheer the the Durmstrang boys, who had been sat at the Slytherin table.

From Beauxbatons - Fleur Delacour. Again loud cheers erupted, this time from the Beauxbatons girl... and most of the boys in the room.

From Hogwarts - Cerdric Diggory. The cheer this time was the loudest, due to the whole of Hogwarts cheering our own champion on.

Then the unthinkable happened.

Just as Dumbledore was giving and uplifting speeches

The flames in the Goblet began to swirl about in the air.

They turned red and spat out an other name.

"Harry Potter!" Dumbledore screamed.

I sat, dumbfounded as Harry stood up and walked to the headmasters office, where the rest of the Champions were waiting.

I found myself gripping tight onto Hermione's arm as I watched my boyfriend disappear, listening to the students shout out profanities at my boyfriend.

Dumbledore dismissed us and we all went back to our common rooms where I skillfully snuck off up to Ron, Harry, Dean and Seamus' room.

Sitting on Harry's bed, waiting to talk to him.

"Did he tell you?" A voice spoke, making me jump. I sat up and looked over to the door where Ron stood, an angrily look on his face.

"Honestly, I don't reckon he entered at all."

"Come off it Aurora, you know as well as I do Harry Potter loves the attention." He hissed.

"Harry has spent the last couple weeks making it damn clear that he didn't want to enter. That he'd rather just watch and you've known Harry for what? four years now? When has Harry, EVER enjoyed being in centre of attention?"
