Chapter 2: The Reunion ✔✔

I woke up pretty early on the morning I was leaving for school, double checking I had everything before I headed downstairs to find my dad and Remus sitting at the dining table.

"Morning Losers!" I called as I dumped my trunk at the bottom of the stairs, by the front door.

"Morning pain in the neck!" Dad called back as I walked into the kitchen and grabbing some toast.

"You ready for school?" Remus asked, looking up from his paper.

"Definitely, I have everything, except my favourite DADA Professor, but he's staying here to make sure my old man stays out of trouble." I joked as I sat beside him, opposite dad.

"I feel like you two live to gang up on me?" My dad huffed, grabbing his coffee with a pout.

"Oh, don't get your tail in a twist, we both love you dearly." Remus chuckled, leaning over and taking my dads hand over the table.

"Are you two actually gonna miss me? Or will you be to preoccupied with each other to even notice my absence." I poured playfully making my dad shrug while Remus laughed.

"Honestly... you'll be forgotten as soon as you walk out the door." My dad nodded, not even trying to hide his playful smirk.

"Thought so." I laughed.

"He's joking, of course we'll miss you little Pup. I miss you already." Remus assured me as he stood up and walked passed me, placing a kiss on the top of my hair as he went by.

"No need to spear the girls feeling honey, she's a strong girl and as soon as she gets Harry back, she'll forget about us just as fast." My dad defended, making me laugh.

I loved seeing my dad in a playful mood. It brightened my day by about 80% every time.

"He's right, I've forgotten him already." I laughed, making my dad and Remus laugh.

"Both of you hush, you will miss each other, alot. Now, Aurora hurry up if you want to make it to the train on time." Remus scolded as he re-entered the kitchen.

"Ok, ok, Merlin Moony, don't get you tail in a knot." I huffed.

I ran over to my dad, hugging him tightly, as if I didn't want to let go and of course, he hugged me back, just as tightly.

"I'm gonna miss you dad, so much."

"Don't you worry little Pup, I'll see you soon."

With that I kissed his cheek and walked off with Remus, grabbing my things between us and leaving for the platform.

The platform was already bustling with students, all rushing around finding their friends, saying goodbye to their loved ones.

"So... any sign of Harry?" Remus asked when he saw me looking around impatiently.

I shook my head and looked at Remus, but very quickly my vision was obstructed.

"Guess who?" A familiar voice asked.

I breathed in the familiar smell of Broom wax, fresh cut grass and my boyfriend's cologne.

"Is it... my incredibly handsome and loving boyfriend and bestfriend Harry James Potter?" I guessed a wide grin on my face.

When I turned around, I came face to face with a grinning Harry who I immediately pulling into a hug.

"Harold!" I squealed.

I felt Harry chuckled and pull back.

"I missed you this summer Rory." He grinned, looking down at me.
