The middle of July, warm, sunny and green.
The perfect time for a wedding.
And it had been.
We were at the house in the woods, the very home I had spent my childhood growing up.
Harry had arrived last night and this morning the Weasley's had arrived and we had fixed up the area around to seat a bunch of people.
The wedding had gone off with out a hitch. My dads got married, Kingsley performing the ceremony and we very quickly cleaned up and set up a large tent where we currently were, watching the newly weds happy as can be as they spent time with their friends and family.
It wasn't a big wedding party, not really, there were the Weasley's including Charlie and Bill who both came home for the wedding.
The Order members came, Moody, Tonks and a few others that weren't on missions, were here.
Even professor McGonagall and Dumbledore were in attendance, which I loved.
It was pretty much like any normal wedding celebration. Moony was dancing with Molly, Arthur, with Ginny, all laughing like mad at the fun they were having. I spotted Charlie talking to Tonks, who was blushing like mad at what ever he was saying.
My dad, Sirius, was dancing with Professor Mcgonagall, who to our surprise, was laughing with him,
Ron had plucked up enough courage to ask Hermione to dance, I couldn't help but smile as I watched them.
Harry had been stole away by Ginny for a dance after she was done with her dad and I was left to sit alone, enjoying the sights of my friends and family finally happy for once.
"Miss Lupin-Black, would you perhaps honor me with a dance?" A voice spoke from beside me, I looked up to see Albus Dumbledore was smiling down at me, his hand held out.
"Of course, the honor would be mine Professor." I grinned as I stood up the skirt to my white knee length dress fall from the chair I was seated on.
Dumbledore lead me over to the floor where we dance happile for the duration of a song, before there was tap on our headmasters shoulder and we turned to see my dad and McGonagall.
"Dumbledore, I was wonding if I could steal my child from you." Dad grinned as he nodded towords me, "Perhaps you could take Minnie on for a spin."
"Great idea Mr Black." Dumbledore smiled before he took off with my head of house, leving me with my dad.
"Dance with your old man?" he offerd and I laughed as I was pulled into his arms and he spun us around.
"I'm so happy for you dad, you and Dad deserve this, to be happy and carefree, even if it is just for tonight." I tol my dad who smiled down at me and kissed my forehead.
"Just because we have the whole, up coming war, to worry about, dosen't mean Moony and I aren't happy the rest of the time." Dad chuckled as he continued to waltz me around the dacefloor, sending Moony a wink as we passed him and Ginny now, sharing a dance, me doing he same when I saw Harry and Hermione dancing and then Ron and his mum.
"Do you think Harry and I will ever have this?" I asked out loud, then looked at my dad wide eyed, "No..not the wedding I just ment..." I was cut off by my dad laughing.
"I know what you ment Pup and I think you and Harry already have what your dad and I have."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah, just...no wedding until you're at least 30." He joked and I let out a laugh.
