I gasped as I woke up in an empty hospital wing, not entirely sure as to what was going on, but I remembered what a saw I my death dream, so I scrambled out of bed and ran out the door, ignoring Madame Pomfrey as she called after me.

I ran as fast as I could to just below the astronomy tower, where Dumbledore has said he was, above us was a large, mark...his mark, floating above the school, proudly marking who had been here.

There was a large group of people stand around and I pushed through the crowd until I finally saw them.

Harry was knelt beside Dumbledore, he hand on our headmasters chest as he cried quietly to himself.

"Aura?" Ron asked as soon as he saw me, but I ignored him, keeping my eyes on my boyfriend.

I couldn't help myself, I stepped forward and walked over to him, wrapping my arms around his shoulder and brought him closer, letting him cry into my shoulder.

"Rory?" Harry sniffled as he realizes who was holding him so tightly.

"Shh, baby, it's OK, I'm right here." I insisted.

Suddenly every student and Professor around us rose their wands, glowing towards the sky, all working together to destroy the mark above us.

Light began to shoot from the sky and then it was gone, the dark mark with it.

I just held onto Harry as he cried, whispering encouraging words into his ear.

*time skip*
The next few days, the school was silent. No one dear speak...I don't think anybody could think of what to say.

We went about our classes in silence, we did our work and we did what we could to keep our Hope's high, but with Dumbledore gone it was difficult.

On the third day, after his death, the school held a funeral for our beloved headmaster, saying our final goodbyes before he was buried on Hogwarts ground, where he wished to be buried, in a white tomb, where past and future Students can visit him.

Many Parents had come along to the funeral, most if not all of the order was there also, which made me feel better as I stood beside Harry, my dad next to me, Remus next to Harry. Ron was with his family while Hermione stood with Ginny and Ron also, since her parents were muggles and not able to come to Hogwarts.

I had lost track of Harry after the funeral was over and we had all changed into something less...black.

Hermione, Ron and I wondered around the school until finally we found him standing on top of the astronomy tower.

We spoke a little, just saying hello to Harry then sat quietly for a while, no one saying anything until Hermione spoke up.

"Do you think he would have done it? Draco?" Hermione asked, being careful not to upset anyone again.

"No." Harry spoke matter of factly. "No, he was lowering his wand." He sighed looking over at me with a small smile. "In the end it was Snape. It was always Snape and I didn nothing."

He held out his hand and placed the amulet thing in Hermione's hands, before turning to take me into his arms, hugging me tightly.

"It's fake. Open it." Harry insisted, pointing to the Horcruxe...or lack there of.

She opened it to find a small note inside, folded up.

"To the dark lord. I k ow I will be dead long before you read this, but I want you to kknow it was I who discovered your secret.

I have stolen the real Horcrux and intend to destroy it as soon as I can. I face death in the hope that when you meet you match you will be mortal once more.

R.A.B"

"R.A.B?" i asked, leaning back to look up at Harry who shrugged.

"Dunno. But who ever they are, they have the real Horcrux. Which means it was all a waste, all of it." Harry sighed letting go of me.

"Don't say that baby, you did what you could to fight Voldemort, that's all you've ever done." I told him, turning to touch his cheek.

"But I left you alone, to get sick, to collapse and be taken to the hospital wing again. I wa off collecting this and now..."

"And now we know there are more out there to find and destroy." I reminded him.

"You woke up, alone." He argued.

"And I found you." I smiled, leaning in and kissing his cheek. "Which it what I will always do. Okay?"

"Okay.

"And what about you?" Ron asked from his seat on the stairs.

"What about me?"

"How did you know where were all were as soon as you woke up?" Hermione questioned as I looked at the three, pulling away from Harry.

"He told me."

"What?"

"I wasn't just asleep in the Hospital wing...I died."

"WHAT!?" The three shouted shocked and worried.

"Yeah well, I'm not actually sure what happened, no one is, but while I was dead, I saw Dumbledore and he told me where he was and where I would find you."

"Did...did he say anything else?" Harry asked looking at me.

"Just that, not to worry, that this was meant to happen and you're the only one that can stop him and that I need to make sure you know you're not alone."

"Well, that's stating the obvious." Ron scoffed.

"Harry...I erm...I also saw...I saw your parents. I think the gist of what they were saying was mostly that, they are proud of us, and they want you to know they are watching us every step of the way...all of us."

"They said that?"

"Yeah." I nodded. "Your dad made a few wise cracks about My dads. Your mum was super excited that we're in a relationship and james was is adamant we'll get married one day." I laughed, making Harry smile for the first time in three days. "They were happy we have friends like Ron and Hermione."

"What else did they say?" He asked, wrapping his arms around me again.

"I'll tell you later honey, let's go find my dads and the Weasley's first, they'll be waiting for us to get going home." I smiled up at him.

"I..I'm not coming back. To Hogwarts I mean." Harry informed us.

"I know." I nodded.

"I have to finish what he started. I have to find the Horcruxes and destroy them. I'l let you both and Ron know where I am as soon as I can."

"I've always admired you courage Harry..." Hermione began, but I cut her off quickly,

"But sometimes you can be so stupid." I shook my head.

"Do you really think you're going to find all those Horcruxes by yourself?" Ron finished.

It went quite forna while, and the four of us all look out into the sky when we heard the loud call from above us.

There, circling the school was Fawkes, Dumbledore's Pheonix.

"Well work together Harry, and we'll find a way to win. We always do." I muttered as I rest my head in my boyfriends chest, his arms gripp9onto me tighter.

"I know." He mumbled, placing a soft kiss on my forehead. "But for now, let's go home."
