Demi's POV;
I wake up screaming with tears running down my face. My sister stands next to my bed with a worried look in her eyes. “are you okay?” she asks. “yah, just a bad dream,” I say. I rub my eye and yawn. “Well you should get ready for the first day of school,” she says. “okay, I just have to check something first,” I say. She leaves the room. I grab my macbook and log onto my yahoo account. I click on the news section and realize it wasn't just a nightmare, I'm living a nightmare.
Justin's POV;
“Wake up! You gotta get ready for school,” my mom yells from downstairs. I get up and look to the door across the hall and sigh. I walk across the hall and sit on her bed and just let it all out. My mom walks up the stairs and sees me. She walks to the door and trys not to cry. “i know its hard, but we have to try to move on,” she says then walks away. I sigh and get up and get ready for school.
Selena's POV;
I wake up smiling and get ready for the first day of my senior year of high school. I nearly skip out the door and all the way to my new boyfriend, Damon's house. I knock on his door and jump into his arms when he opens the door. When we kiss fireworks go off and love spirals around us. For once I feel in love and free. “I love you,” I whisper in his ear.
We drive to school in Damon's Ferrari. We go our suppurate ways once we get inside the school. I spot my two best friends in the whole wide world, Taylor and Demi. We run into each others arms, creating a big group hug. We pull back and all smile. “So how was your summer?” Taylor asks. Taylor went to Florida for the whole summer! “I got a boyfriend!” I say smiling from ear to ear. “Who?” Taylor and Demi both ask at the same time. “Damon Salvatore,” I say. “He's hot!” Taylor says. I nod. “so how was your summer Demi?” I ask.
Demi's POV;
I think of telling them what happened after the end of school year party but I don't instead I just say, “boring.” Taylor and Selena start talking about the amazing things they did over the summer while I just stand their trying to forget what happened, trying to forget that terrible night, trying to forget it all. I leave the group and run to the girl's bathroom.
Justin's POV;
I spot Ryan and Chaz and walk up to them. “Hey,” Chaz says smiling. Ryan doesn't say anything at first, just starring down at his shoes. “You okay?” I ask Ryan. He snaps out of it and trys his best to smile. “yeah,” he says. He still can't look in my eyes. My thoughts are interpreted by Rachel, she runs over to me and kisses me passionately. “Hey babe,” I say as I pull back. “how was your summer?” she asks me.
“It was great,” I say lying. “Where were you the last like six months of school?” she asks me. “mono,” I say lying again. The last six months of school I was at home helping my mom deal with it all. Its been like 10 months and we've still haven't gotten over it. I don't think I ever will get over it.
Rachel's POV;
“So how was your summer?” justin asks me. Jasmine goes over to her boyfriend Nick and kisses him. I try not to look at ryan and his girlfriend, Lyric, and smile at justin. “good,” I say. The first bell rings and I kiss Justin goodbye. I give ryan and Lyric one last look and try to forget how much I miss her.
