Gino had a horrible past which ended him up in Alola. He stayed with a professor and spent most of his days sheltered in his room. When he meets Ash for the first time, his life changes. Read to find out the crazy adventures Ash and Gino end up in.

An alarm went off in a bedroom. The purple haired boy tiredly raised his arm and pressed the button to turn it off. He got up and stretched before taking a shower and making breakfast for him and his guardian. He set down the plate for them and sat down. But before he could take a bite, a Pokemon barked. It was Rockruff, the guardians dog.
"Oh, my apologies!" He said while waving his arms. He took out the food and poured it into a bowl. "Today's the day Rockruff! I will finally go out farther than the Pokemon school, like to the beach perhaps. What do you say!" He said happily. Rockruff let out a happy bark while running around.
"Well aren't you two full of energy today." The guardian said.
"Oh! Alola Kukui!" he said.
"Alola Gino!" He said back. "I heard we have some visitors on the island from the Kanto region. Maybe they will enroll in the school?" Kukui thought. Gino gave a small chuckle before grabbing his coat.
"Well, i'm off to school!" Gino waved. Kukui waved back before closing the door.
Backstory time!
Akira Montgomery, aka Gino, was 5 years old when he moved from the Galar region. His family was wealthy and they wanted to catch every Pokemon to exist. One day they decided to take a tour through the Unova region so they traveled by boat. While on the water they took some pictures and caught some Pokemon to show off until a Gyarados attacked the boat. Everyone ran to cover except for Gino who ended up falling off the boat and into the water. He was knocked out by Gyarados hydro pump and awoken in the Alolan region. Kukui was nice enough to take care of him. Gino would hide from Kukui but later got used to him as he grew older. Til this day, Gino rarely went out to do anything and was afraid of water and Pokemon. He has some friends at the Pokemon school that Kukui teaches at, but he goes to a different school so he doesn't talk to them much. A hidden talent that Gino has is that he's an excellent cook.
