Nobody's POV
"I really should whoop your ass for what you said on the live like you ain't got no home training." Evelyn said hitting Toni on the back off her head.
"I know. I'm sorry mommy." Toni said like a little kid. They said down and made small conversation somehow the topic they ended on was Kenny.
"Toni you have to tell Kenny how you feel."
"Ma, but what if he doesn't feel the same way I do?"
"Trust me he does. Y'all chemistry is off the charts."
"He's still married though."
"Not what I heard. Nicole cheated on him."
"How you know?"
"The office talks," Evelyn said.
"Did the office say that they are officially divorced?"
"Yes. Go over to his house and tell him how you feel."
"Now?" Toni questioned.
"Toni, it's now or never." Evelyn stated making Toni think. 'Now or never'

Toni pulled up at Kenny's house and turned her car off but she didn't get out.
"I'm ready. I can do this it's not rocket science. Awwww but what if he doesn't feel the same way I do? He does. He just has to. The way he looks at me says something different." Toni said talking to herself. She took a deep breath gathering her thoughts and got out the car. She mentally prepared herself for what was about to happen and knocked on Kenny's door.
"Hi, auntie."
"Hi, Peyton. What are you doing opening the door?" Toni said walking inside the house.
"I saw your car outside so I know that it was you." She said closing and locking the door.
"Oh okay. Come give auntie some kisses." Peyton ran in Toni's arms and she kissed her cheek leaving her lipstick print.
"I want another lipstick one," Peyton said pointing to her other check which Toni kissed.
"Where's your dad?"
"In his office," Peyton said grabbing Toni's hand and leading her to Kenny's home office/studio.
"Hi, Ken."
"Hi, Toni. What are you doing here?" He asked getting up from the couch, hugging her. Peyton left them to go watch some Angelina the Ballerina.
"Uh, I came to talk to you about something." She said sitting on the couch next to him.
"I need to talk to you too."
"Okay how about we go at the same time?" Kenny suggested.
"Okay, 1...2...3... "
"I like you more than a friend." They looked at each other shocked that they both were thinking the same thing.
"I don't really know how to say this but, I ain't never felt this way about someone before. Your my best friend and I don't want to mess up our friendship. By the way Nicole and I broke up because she cheated on me. I know this a lot to take in." Kenny continued talking but Toni wasn't paying attention. She was too focused on his soft juicy lips.
Kenny eventually stopped talking and began to caress Toni's face while staring at her lips. Toni made eye contact with Kenny and leaned in. He then kissed her. And there it was the spark. The spark that they both felt in 1994 when their hands touched together on the piano. But this time it felt like the spark was building up more electricity over the years causing it to become more powerful.
Kenny paused and looked into her eyes while kissing her again but this time with more passion than the last. He pulled her on his lap as to where she was straddling him. Toni wrapped her arms around Kenny's neck deepening the kiss. Toni began to moan as Kenny sucked on her bottom lip. His tongue sliding through her mouth, as they touched fighting for dominance. They both pulled back out of breath from the kiss.
"I love you." They both said at the same time smiling.
"Ken I really do love you," Toni said looking in his eyes.
"I really love you too. How about on Saturday I take you on a date. What do you say?"
"Yes, I'd love to go on a date with you." Toni blushed. Her phone rang and she answered it realizing that it was Trina.
"Hello, Tri."
"Did you forget that we have sister time today?" Trina asked.
"Oh, yeah I did. I'll be there in 30 minutes."
"Okay bye," Trina said then hung up.
"Ken, I have to go."
"Aww so soon?"
"Yes, Trina's waiting for me but I'll see you Saturday." She said pecking his lips.
"Okay, I'll walk you out." They walked out of Kenny's office/studio seeing Peyton downstairs.
"I'm leaving now Pey."
"Aww okay. When I gonna see you again?"
"You'll see me as soon as you know how to say spaghetti," Toni said knowing that was a hard word for Peyton to say.
"Bye auntie."
"Bye, sweetie." Kenny walked Toni to her car and kissed her cheek.
"Bye Ken."
"Bye." Toni went into her car and drove off. She later arrived at Trina's house to pick her up.
"Hi, Toni," Trina said getting inside Toni's car.
"Hi Tri."
"Toni- Girl-."
"What?" Toni said pulling off.
"Look at your lips," Trina said making Toni pull down the visor and look at her semi swollen lips.
"Oh my gosh," Toni whispered to herself.
"Who did you kiss?"
"No one. A bee stung me."
"Toni number 1 that can be semi true cause your allergic to them. Number 2 your glowing so tell me the truth. Sooo imma ask you again. Who? Did? You? Kiss? Toni? Braxton?"
"Okay, okayyy, I was talking to mom and she said that she heard from the office that Kenny is officially divorced. So she suggested that I go over to his house to tell him that I have feelings for him."
"And?"
"I did and it turns out he wanted to tell me that too, so we told each other at the same time."
"Then what happened?"
"We made out for about 10 minutes and he asked me out on a date and I said yes. Then you called."
"Aww. I'm sorry I ruined the moment. Anyway, when is y'all date?"
"Saturday."
"Toni that's in two days."
"I know. That's why I'm bout to shop for something to wear, cause I don't think that I have anything nice to wear."
"Okay."
"And DON'T tell the sisters. I know your not Towanda but don't give any hints to them that something is going on between Kenny and me."
"My lips are sealed shut. I won't say a word." Trina promised.
"Good," Toni said parking in the lot at the mall. They got out of the car and went shopping.

Okay so chapter tomorrow for Toni's birthday too. Y'all lucky I like how this book is going cause I wasn't gonna give y'all a chapter today but I promised @gisllecrtter
