Both of their bodies were tangled in the sheets. Toni ended up all on Kenny's chest and the bottom half of her body sore as ever. Her phone rang and she quickly answered it not wanting it to wake Kenny up.
"Hello," Toni whispered to the person on the other line.
"T did your forget that we have sister brunch today?" Traci asked from the other line.
"Oh shit. Yes, I did. I'll be there in about an hour."
"Okay, I and Umba will pick you up."
"No, no, no. Um, I'm not home."
"Uh, okay just meet us at Bluu's and don't be late."
"No promises." Traci hung up the phone and Toni got up out of bed limping. She went to the bathroom to shower. After her shower, she went into Kenny's closet finding her self titled shirt and a pair of ripped jeans. Whilst Toni was putting on her clothes she felt Kenny staring at her.
"Stop staring at me weirdo." Walking over to the bed she kissed his lips.
"Mmmh, where you going?" Kenny asked as they pulled away.
"I forgot that my sisters and I have a brunch date today to talk about if we're going to do a Christmas album or not." She explained putting on her black stiletto heels from last night. Grabbing her phone she placed it in her back pocket.
"Okay, you can take my car." He said retrieving his car keys from the dresser.
"You sure? I was just gonna call a taxi."
"No, take my keys. I don't want you to take a taxi."
"Thanks." She kissed his lips and took the keys.
"Let me walk you out." Getting out of bed he put on some clothes and brushed his teeth. Walking downstairs they went outside to Kenny's car.
"I'll bring your car back later so don't call the cops on me." Toni joked and he chuckled.
"Never." He replied and kissed her lips one more time before she got in the car.
"Text me when you get there. Love you."
"Love you too." Toni drove off on her way to the restaurant to meet her sisters.
Bluu's
"Your late." They all said seeing her walk inside the private area. She placed her phone in her back pocket after texting Kenny that she arrived.
"I know." Toni held her hand under her shirt so they won't see her ring. She wasn't ready to tell her sisters about her and Kenny just yet. She's just gonna give little hints. Sitting down at the table all the girls stared at her.
"Why y'all looking at me for?" She asked staring back at them.
"You just glowing." Towanda shrugged.
"Toni, you started dating yet?" Traci asked.
"Yeah, there's this one guy and I really like him."
"You really like him?!" They said.
"Did you hear that?" Trina asked.
"I think I might like him."
"Toni got a daddy, daddy, daddy, daddy, daddy, daddy," Tamar said and Traci started beatboxing while Towanda and Trina sang.
"She likes a man. Likes him a lot. Said I really like him."
"What? What? What? What?" Towanda ad-libbed.
