"That's your flight sweetie"
Joe said as his girlfriends flight was called out on a speaker.
"I dont want to go joey"
She cried into his chest, the tears falling down her face. She purposely hadn't worn any eye makeup today as she knew she would cry, she didn't want to walk around the airport with mascara running down her face, so she hadn't put any on.
"I know you don't but you've been given this job and it's literally your dream dotty. You're going to do so good, okay"
A few months ago dianne was contacted by one of her old dance teachers who taught her as a kid, who said she would love for her to take over her dance studio and make it her own. Dianne thought long and hard about it and after alot of purswading from joe she decided to take it. Only problem was, it was in Australia and joe had an amazing job he loved in Wiltshire. Instead of deciding to give up their careers, they were going to try long distance and make it work the best they could.
"I'm just going to miss you though"
She stuttered
"I'm going to miss you too but you've got to go and do me proud"
He told her
"I will, I promise I'll do you proud."
She wiped away her tears
"Have you got your ring?"
He asked her. The past weekend they had spent together doing cute little things together. Cuddling and watching movies, going on a picnic and going on walks through the park and last night joe surprised her with a promise ring.
"Yeah, yeah, I've got it"
She said trying not to cry again as she had just managed to stop
"Okay, I'll facetime you every day promise. Make sure you call me once you've landed"
He said
"Promise"
She held out her pinky finger
"I love you"
He whispred
"I love you too"
She said pouting her lips and pressing a soft but passionate kiss on her boyfriends lips before taking a deep breath.
"Okay.......I'll see you when I can see your face next"
Her breath shook
"Yep, one last kiss"
He pressed his lips to hers, softly kissing her again
"Love you"
She said again
"I love you more little one"
He slowly let go of her hand as she started to walk away, the tears appearing on her face again. They waved at eachother as dianne slowly disappeared into he distance. And then joe had to walk away without his girl by his side.

"Well yeah, shes gone now and I don't know when I'm going to see her next so its going to be hard"
Joe said to his best mate oli as they spoke over the phone.
"I know mate, it's hard. Evie was often away for work when we first got together so I know how you feel. Its awful not being able to be with the one you love, isnt it"
He said
"Yeah it definitely is hard, I'm feeling lonely already"
Joe put on a fake laugh but then was suddenly interrupted by a knock on his apartment door. He stood up to go and answer it expecting it to be maybe a parcel or something so he continued talking to oli.
"Maybe I should come over keep you company"
Oli suggested
"Yeah maybe....."
Joe said as he opened the door. His heart dropped aswell as his mouth. An instant wave of shock came over him.
"Can I call you back in a minute oli?"
Joe asked him
"Sure mate, talk to ya in a minute"
Oli said
"Yep, talk to you soon"
Joe quickly hang up putting his phone in his pocket and locking his eyes with the girl stood at the door.
"What the bloody hell are you doing?"
He asked still in shock
"I couldn't do it, I couldn't go and leave you here."
She said. Joe's shocked face slowly fell into a smile as he threw his arms around his girlfriend, burying his head into her neck.
"You really came back"
He whispred
"Yeah, I came back"
She whispred back to him. They drifted from their hug to take a second to look in eachothers eyes before throwing their arms back around eachother.
"What about your job dotty?"
Joe asked
"Forget it. I think we should just both quit our jobs, sell this flat , pack our bags and travel the world together, right now."
She told him
"We definitely should"
He smiled
"We are really doing this joey"
She said
"I know and I cant wait"
He kissed her lips softly just imaging the adventures they were going to go on in the years to come.
This idea changed about ten times. I couldnt decided what to do. 😂
