"Joe we can't go on a holiday. We cant go and travel. We just can't"
Dianne told him. For the last ten minutes they had been debating on what to do this year. It was january 4th and they had a free year this year so far. They had nothing really booked in or anything to do so they had alot of time to spend together.
"Why can't we?"
He asked her. This was what it had been like for the past ten minutes. The constant why cant we? We can, no we cant bickering.
"Because I thought we were going to start trying for a baby this year"
She said. They had agreed last month, in December that they wanted to have a family within the next year and a half as now they had been together nearly 4 years.
"But why can't we have kids next year? I want to travel this year. Travel with you"
He said. Even though they had both traveled the world, they did it separately and joe wanted to see the world with the girl he loved. Go to places they hadn't been before.
"Because I want to have kids now. Didn't we agree that it would be this year that would be the year we start trying for a baby."
She said
"But next year?"
He always had something to come back with. Dianne just didn't understand why he wanted to argue with her.
"Joe, how many times have I told you about this. You said to me we can have as many children as I want because it's my body and I'll be carrying them and I want 3 kids. I'm 33 Joseph."
She tried to explain to him
"So what? We have loads of time to start s family. We dont need to rush into it"
He told her
"But joe this is what you dont get. You dont know how hard it is for a woman over 35 to get pregnant. Trying for a baby, isnt just having sex and then peeing on a stick and seeing two lines. You've got to put time into it , track my ovulation, figure out when I'm most fertile, I've got to come off the pill. It's not easy. "
"But your not 35 yet are you"
Joe said
"Yeah, but I will be in 2 years and I want 3 kids joe, 3 kids aren't just going to pop out of me in the space of 2 years. We've got the actually try to get pregnant, I won't fall on the first time, it will take a while. Then I've got 9 months of pregnancy. We're not going to start trying the day after I have our first. We've got to wait, then try for a baby again. Again it will take time then 9 months of pregnancy, then we've got to wait again and then try again, more pregnancy. Like that won't happen in two years. It's a long process. For all we know we could be trying for a year before I get pregnant, that's why I want to do it now"
She said
"But don't you think it would be nice to have a year of travelling before we have children"
He told her
"No. My body is ready now. I'm sure I want to try for a baby now. I feel healthy, I feel good about myself, I'm mentally ready. I'm ready to commit to trying for a baby. I might not feel like that in a years time. Do you think your body is ready?"
She asked and joe nodded
"Then why cant we try for a baby now? If we are both ready why cant we"
She said
"Because I want different things to you. We can when we're on the same page"
He told her
"THATS ACTUALLY IT. IM DONE WITH YOU. YOU THINK TRAVELING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN STARTING A FAMILY. YOUVE TRAVELED BEFORE, YOU DON'T NEED TO DO IT AGAIN. YOU KNOW HOW BADLY I WANT TO START A FAMILY AND NOW IM READY YOU DONT WANT TO. "
Dianne shouted before standing up and going upstairs to their bedroom leaving joe by himself downstairs wondering if they were ever going to come to a decision.

Later that evening and disnne was still in their bedroom. Joe hadn't seen or heard her since, so she was obviously very upset and didn't want to talk to him. But joe knew he had to say something because he realised he was sorry and should of listened to her.
"Dottt"
He knocked on their bedroom door just incase she had fallen asleep. He carefully opened the door seeing her laying in bed on her phone. He slowly walked up to her and sat on the bed next to where she was laying.
"I'm just wanted to say I'm sorry. I didn't listen to you and I should of. And I've decided that we should actually start trying for a baby this year instead of traveling. Maybe we should take our kids traveling when we have them"
He said
"Thank you for releasing what you had done"
She wrapped her arms around him as joe put his head on her chest.
"And when you said about your body being ready for a baby and I wouldn't listen, I realised I wasn't being respectful to you or your body. So I'm sorry for that too"
He told her
"Your so sweet"
She smiled and the poured her lips pressing them to his kissing him softly.
"So whenever your ready, I will be too"
He said
"Why do you literally have to melt my heart?"
She giggled kissing hai forehead this time before they fell asleep in eachothers arms.
Ok, so I go back to school this friday so updates might be slower. I'm going into quite an important year and as much as I hate school I do need to put some effort into it. So I wont be as active in the day, I'll try to be in the evenings and after school aswell on the weekends. But I'm trying to write as many one shots as I can before friday so please can you send in your ideas. The more ideas I get the more I'll write and the more I wrote the sooner I finish this book and as soon as this is finshed you will get a new book.

I know a high school story is such an unoriginal idea but I have 32 books and I've never done one before. I have done alot of school one shots throughout all my one shot books so I think its finally time to write one where they are in high school. So if you would like that please comment ideas.
