It's been two weeks, the first week everything was approved and the house officially became mine, this second week has just been moving all of my things in, and stocking up on groceries and alcohol for the bar in the basement, and other household items i'd need.

My friends have been a huge help throughout this process, and i couldn't appreciate them more. Now that i'm completely moved in i decided to have a small little party with friends and family to celebrate! We're having a barbecue and pool party so it should be fun.

I was wearing my black fringe bandeau bikini. My hair is down in messy waves, and i didn't have a trace of makeup on my face, i didn't see the point seeing as i'm going to be in the pool so i don't want to look like a raccoon. I went downstairs and started seasoning the meat for my dad to grill when he gets here, which should be any minute now, everyone should be arriving soon. Once all the meat was seasoned i got to work making potato salad and the works.

Not going to lie i'm pretty excited for this little get together, it's the first of many at my house. I'm so proud of myself, that may seem a little cocky, but i just mean i bought a house with my own money. I pay my own bills, have my own car, own a house. I'm finally independent and it feels amazing!

There was a knock on the door and i ran over and opened the door to see Tadley, JJ, Lacey and Ava standing there with grins on their faces.

"Guyssssss! Come in." I hugged them and then made my way back into the kitchen to finish getting everything ready.

"Well someone's been busy!" Ava stated looking around at all the food.

"Oh my gosh, that bathing suit is so cute! You're going to have to let me borrow it sometime!" Lacey begged.

"Sure thing!" I promised. Tadley came up and wrapped his arms around my waist as i was preparing the dessert. He leaned down and whispered in my ear causing a shiver to run down my spine and my arms getting goosebumps.

"I'm loving this bathing suit, you look so sexy!"

"Yeah? Well maybe if you're on your best behavior you can stick around after the party and i'll let you take it off." I winked at him. He growled in my ear and pressed against me, for a moment it was just the two of us, but then we were brought back by a throat clearing.

"Gross, not around the food, guys!" My brother said in mild disgust. I rolled my eyes at my brother and made him go answer the door when the door bell rang. It was only a couple minutes before even more people were piling into my kitchen.

"Oh my gosh, why does it smell so amazing in here?!" Cindy asked inhaling deeply.

"Seriously though! It's making my stomach growl." Seth said gripping his stomach dramatically. I smiled and went over and hugged Cindy and the rest of the crew.

"That's because i've been cooking all afternoon!" I stated with a shrug of my shoulders.

"Just wait until you taste it!" Ava insisted. "We've told you she's an amazing cook."

"I can confirm that statement!" Tadley grinned. Nobody had the chance to add anything else to the conversation because my parents arrived.

"I'm here, the party can begin!" My dad teased.

"Hello, honey, it smells amazing in here! Can i help with anything?" My mom asked.

"Ummm, i think i got everything done, all that is left is for dad to grill up the meat. It's already been seasoned, so it's ready to go. I already have the grill heated up." I hugged my parents and gave them a kiss on the cheek and then handed over a tray of steaks, burgers, and hot dogs to my father and Tadley. They made their way out to the backyard and over to the grill.
