A week passed and every single day i received a new note. Sometimes it was in the mailbox, sometimes it was delivered to my work, delivered to Tadley, it was even delivered to my family and friends once my house started being watched by patrol cars again.

This person was going out of their way to try to get to me, they are upping the threats, and warning my family and friends that something is going to happen to me... that i'm going to pay. They've all tried to keep me from going anywhere, and tried to keep me guarded but i would have none of that. I'm not letting this person scare me, i'm not letting them change my life or my routine, they will not hold that power over me. I was convinced that if i acted like those notes didn't affect me then they would give up and stop sending them, but if anything the more i ignored them the more pissed off they got.

I had just gotten into my car to leave work when something flew against my car window, shattering it in around me. Some of the flying glass cut me but that was the least of my worries. The door was ripped open before i could even see what was happening and then there was a searing pain in the side of my head and my vision started going black.

** Tadley's POV: **

"This is Tadley Matthews..." I answered my phone.

"Tadley! You need to come now! Somethings happened, Kenslea's gone!" I recognized one of Kenslea's photographers voice on the line. As soon as i heard that she was gone my heart sank to my stomach. I hung up the phone and grabbed my things and ran out of the building completely ignoring my receptionist.

No, no, no, no, no! This can't be happening! Why didn't her stubborn ass just listen to me for once about staying home?! I should have been there protecting her! I got into my car and sped off to Evan's company, when i pulled into the parking lot i immediately saw the police cars and yellow tape surrounding Kenslea's car. No, please God, don't let her be in there! I ran over and a cop went to hold me back but the officer who's been handling Kenslea's case immediately recognized me and let me through.

"What happened?! Where is she?!" I demanded.

"We haven't gotten that far Mr. Matthews. All we know is that the driver side window is smashed in and there's blood on the seat belt, door, and splatters on the ceiling of the car... There's skid marks leading out of the parking lot which leads us to believe they were waiting for her. We will find her, Mr. Matthews." Officer Fischer promised.

I felt like my world was crashing in around me, what did they do to her, why was she bleeding? How badly is she bleeding? God, please let us find her in time.... I can't lose her! I called her parents and brother, along with our friends on autopilot. I was in a daze, i can't believe this is happening. This is the stuff that only happens in movies, who would want to hurt her?! She's an amazing, sweet, genuine, and caring person...

I got in my car and drove home, we all met up there and i sat on the couch with my elbows on my knees and my head in my hands. I can't lose her, i can't! We all just sat around not knowing what to do with ourselves, and just waiting for any news. Carrie Anne was in mother mode trying to comfort everyone.

"Here's some tea, and a sandwich, hon." She said softly. She sat it down on the table in front of me but i couldn't move from my position. Tears were dripping off of my nose and i didn't even care if i looked weak right now. I just want my girl home.

"No thank you, i'm not hungry..." I responded my voice breaking. Why haven't they called? What do they want? Why are they doing this? Why hurt her?! She hasn't done anything wrong!

"You need to eat something, honey. You're no good to my daughter if you aren't taking care of yourself..." Carrie Anne scolded.

"Why haven't they called? Why haven't we heard anything? I can't just sit here not knowing what's happening to her or if she's okay!" I exclaimed emotionally. I glanced up at her and immediately felt guilty, i'm not the only one that's worried about her, i'm not the only one that's scared and hurting, and looking at her face i could see that now.

Her face was pale, and she looked exhausted, tear stain on her cheeks. I could tell that her being in full mom mode and taking care of everyone else was the only thing keeping her going right now. I immediately jumped up and wrapped her in my arms, and she just let all of her pain out.

"I'm so sorry, i'm not the only one worried about her. I shouldn't have been acting like that." I said apologetically.

"It's okay, dear, we're going to find her.... She's strong, she'll be okay..." I let her cry into my chest and when she was all cried out i gently released her. I looked around the room and saw the toll this was taking on everyone. The girls were all crying, the guys were trying to comfort them but they were too worried and clearly upset. Her father was a mess, pacing the room, pulling at his hair, and silent tears streaming down his face. I went over and patted him on the shoulder comfortingly.

"You want to go drive around and look for her with me? I can't just sit here and wait for something to happen." I offered.

"God, yes!" He exclaimed. Jason went over and told Carrie Anne what we were doing and she just nodded and said she'd take care of everything here. She knew we couldn't just sit still and do nothing. We went and got in my truck and started driving around looking for any signs that she had been there, we went around showing her picture asking if anyone had seen her.

** Kenslea's POV: **

I came to, my head throbbing in pain, and my hair was sticking to the side of my face. I tried to move my hand to push my hair back but they were tied behind my back. I was sitting back against a wall in a wooden chair. I blinked several times trying to clear my blurry vision. Then, a blinding light flicked on and i had to squint my eyes as they adjusted to the light overhead.

"Well, well, well.... So glad you finally decided to join us!" A voice called out coming down the stairs.
