The next day of the party.

Everyone woke up late because we were all tired.

Michael was later than everyone.

"Where were you?" Sneka asked him.

"Just doing some work." He smiled nervously and got seated at the dining table.

"You want some?" She offered him waffles.

He shook his head lightly and then popped some cherries inside his mouth.

Looking in the distance, staring at the wall behind Annie, who sat opposite of him.

We continued to eat our food and even when everyone was done—and started chatting a bit.

I noticed that Michael was sitting in the same posture; still staring at the wall behind Annie.

I clicked my fingers in front of him, he shook his head with a nervous laugh.

"Where is Beta lost?" I asked.

"Nowhere, just some work." He smiled back.

"Did you guys have a great time yesterday?" I asked both; Sneka and Michael.

"I loved it there!" Sneka replied.

"Me too, it was a wonderful night." Michael smiled.

"I'll say I enjoyed it after a long time." Dellilio chimed in.

"I know! cause yesterday I felt like the—I don't know what to say, I guess the real, original Delli was there."

"You were enjoying yourself, and I loved seeing you look so free." Sneka gushed.

Dellilio smiled at me.

"This is my influence," I smirked.

"Can not agree more." Sneka teased and Dellilio rolled his eyes playfully at us.

Michael dazed off again.

When everyone got up, I went to check on him.

He was in Dellilio's study but Dellilio was in our room.

I knocked.

"Come in!" He said from inside.

I opened the door and poked my head in.

"Luna, please come in." He smiled.

"I hope I didn't interrupt your work," I said and he smiled, gesturing me to take a seat.

"Not at all."

"Beta, I just wanted to..ask if you're okay, I see that you look—stressed so I wanted to make sure everything is fine."

"It is Luna, there is just a problem with a piece of land that my father owns."

"You want to talk about it? you can talk to me." I assured him.

He sighed and took a seat opposite me.

Cause sitting next to a Luna or an Alpha is disrespectful, and sometimes I question these dumb rules.

What if you want to hug and console someone.

"Dad brought a piece of land, to present it to me and Sneka, but that land is almost in the Blood Territory and that's our neighboring pack, dad didn't get enough information about it before buying it and now there's chaos, and the Alpha of the Blood pack is loco I'll say."

"He loves war even more than Delli loves war, and Delli still has humanity left inside him even though he has psychotic tortures like hell for the bad guys." He laughed and I had to bite back my laugh.
