"Are you sure all of this wasn't too fast?" Al asked me as he played with my light brown hair.

"I'm sure," I answered rolling onto my side to face him. I pulled the sheet up to keep me modest as I propped my head up with my arm.

"I'm just making sure. Humans view things a bit differently than wolves," he mumbled as his hand traveled from my hair to my bare shoulder. Tingles spread throughout my body as he traced patterns onto my skin. This feels so good.

"Good thing I'm not human," I moaned slightly.

A dazzling smile graced his face and he told me, "You're more human than I am, but I'm glad that your wolf is helping you with this decision."

"You're acting like I was forced into bed by you," I teased and tried to get up in a fake upset manner. His solid warm arms quickly wrapped around me and brought me back down onto the bed next to him. Using his arms as a cage he snuggled with me tightly.

"Well You were definitely not forced," he said as he placed his head in the crook of my neck. I wrapped my arms around his neck and brought us closer together. All that separated our bare bodies was the thin white sheet that had managed to bunch up between us.

"No I wasn't, and I know that you weren't because I remember a certain someone begging," I reminded him with a smirk of victory on my face.

He pushed me onto my back and then hovered over me. His golden eyes darkened as they examined every inch of my exposed body.

'We should do him again' I heard my wolf comment in my mind. My cheeks flushed as images of what we had done earlier entered into my mind.

"Maybe we should do it all again but change who is the one begging," he whispered into my ear in a husky voice. That husky voice of his might be my new favorite sound.

I opened my mouth to give an answer when there was suddenly a loud insistent knocking on the front door. Who the hell is that? I pushed my mate aside and sat up as I tried to figure out who was at the door.

Al continued to run his hands over my naked skin causing me to break out in shivers that I tried and failed, to control. He then started to kiss my shoulder and back as the knocking continued. "Ignore it," he commanded me.

"Alpha! We need to talk!" I heard the muffled voice of Carter's yell from outside. Well, there's no ignoring that now.

"It sounds important Al," I muttered trying to stay focused as he continued to place moist kisses on my body.

"Alpha it's concerning your mate!" Carter yelled. Al's kisses ceased and I could feel his body tense up.

I got off the bed and put on one of his shirts and a new set of underwear. I turned around to see a still naked and rather mad Alpha in bed.

"You wanna get clothes on, or are you just going to flash Carter?" I asked him. He rolled his eyes and stood up revealing all of his... glory. He just stood there not making any move to get dressed as he crossed his arms grumpily.

"If you are going to flash him, just know that I don't share," I told him then started to walk away to leave the room.

His hand grabbed the back of my shirt and he pulled me back to his hard warm body. "I don't share either, so get pants on," he growled. He let go of me and grabbed a pair of basketball shorts then handed them to me. I rolled my eyes as I pulled the giant shorts up to my waist and tied the drawstring as tight as I could so they wouldn't fall off. As I was struggling with the string, Al got his own pair of basketball shorts. Carter being the impatient person I barely discovered him to be, continued his obnoxious knocking with the occasional yell at Al.

Al grabbed a plain red shirt then rushed towards the front door flinging it open roughly. "What do you want?" Al snapped at the curly blonde-haired man.

Instead of replying instantly, Carter's nose scrunched up as he sniffed the air. His eyes glanced back and forth till they landed on me. I was just a little bit away from the end of the hallway and leaning against the wall watching the scene. His eyes widened and went back to Al as he asked, "You slept with her?"

"That's none of your business," Al growled out.

"She's now my Luna and the Luna Queen. I'd say that's somewhat my business," Carter retorted throwing his arms around him in a dramatic way.

"I'm not your alpha and I'm not a king. So what happens with my mate is none of your business," Al hissed.

"Why are you here?" I cut in as soon as I could so that the fight that would've happened could be avoided for once.

"The hunter and his mate are going crazy trying to find you. They said something about someone named Tyler," Carter said as he gave me a hateful look.

My heart dropped and I looked at Al anxiously. Al met my gaze with a worried glance of his own, doubling the fear that was starting to eat away at me. What's wrong with Tyler? What happened to him? "Where are they?" I asked Carter forcefully as I stood up straight, no longer leaning against the wall.

"Their house," Carter answered. I hurried from my spot and out the door with Al ahead of me. Carter suddenly grabbed my arm and yanked me back. My neck ached as a protest to the whipping movement and I could feel my wolf growling in my head.

"Who's Tyler?" He asked me with his brown eyes narrowed angrily.

"Let her go, Carter," Al order in a threatening tone.

I held my free hand up and said, "It's fine Al. Tyler is my brother. Now take your hand off of me before I make you."

Carter let me go then he looked at me in horror as he questioned, "There's two of you?"

"Her brother can't be the one from the prophecy if that's what you're thinking. He's an alpha, and therefore more wolf than hunter," Al reassured him.

"If that's what I'm thinking? I'm thinking my king has a death wish," Carter muttered sarcastically as he gave Al a cold look with his brown eyes.

"Can you save me from your bickering for once!" I snapped making them both look at me guiltily. Seriously! My brother is possibly in trouble and they won't stop fighting each other long enough for me to know what has happened!

"You're right. Carter, if you can get over your prejudice, you're welcome to come," Al said and we started to walk away side by side.

"I can't believe I'm saying this. Wait up!" Carter called behind us. I heard the crunching of twigs and fallen leaves, then in the next second Carter was next to Al.

"You're still the alpha king. That's worth something to me," Carter told Al. I smiled at his response at the same time that Al frowned.

"I'm not a king," he mumbled. I groaned, tired of their constant bickering over the topic. I swear they will never let this go.

"Al, Carter," I said to each of them, "Shut the hell up about it."

"Sorry Zylee," Al said at the same time that Carter said, "Sorry Luna Queen."

"She's not a queen," Al grumbled.

"She is too," Carter argued as we continued to walk. This is stupid!

"That's not shutting up about it!" I yelled. They both mumbled apologies under their breaths and we picked up our pace as we weaved between the trees. We started to slow our steps as the house my aunt and uncle now lived in came into view. Please let my family be okay.
