Lincoln was holding Wren's toy above his heading. The little three-year-old jumped up and down desperately trying to get a hold on the little red car. This continued on for about two minutes, neither boy admitting defeat or releasing control of the small toy car.

Wren's face turned red from his efforts and finally yelled, "Mom!"

"Shut up Wren!" Lincoln screeched at his little brother. Lincoln then slapped his hand over Wren's mouth causing a loud smacking sound to go throughout the house. Wren struggled against the hold that his brother had on him but Lincoln was much stronger.

"Are you two playing nice?" Their mother called out.

"Yes!" Lincoln called out in response. His younger brother tried to yell out as well but couldn't, making a loud muffled sound come out instead. The struggle kept on as both boys became awfully close to being in a full-blown wrestling match.

A sigh could be heard from the other room and a few seconds later a very pregnant Zylee came in. She looked at her two sons and frowned with annoyance. Both were red in the face, obviously having a hard time breathing now, but neither was willing to stop.

"Lincoln let go of your brother this instant!" Zylee ordered the five-year-old. The young boy let go of Wren and took a step away from him. "All I asked was to be able to lay down for 20 minutes," Zylee cried out.

"Sorry Mom," Lincoln mumbled while looking down guiltily.

Zylee took in a deep breath then said, "It's okay, sweetheart. Dad should be home any minute now. I'll just take a nap once he's home."

"Yay! Mom, want to play where I'm a tiger and Lincoln is a lion and you're a hunter trying to get us?" Wren asked his mother with a goofy smile, the little red car long forgotten from the exciting thought of a new game.

"Sure sweetheart. Just remember to be careful of mommy's tummy," Zylee told them placing a hand on her swollen stomach.

The two boys got excited and instantly immersed themselves in their make-believe world. As Zylee played the role of the hunter she couldn't help but remember all those years ago when she had killed Vaxon. While she knew it had been necessary, sometimes she regretted not letting him have another chance.

Anne and Ben did not have the same thoughts though. They left the week after Vaxon's death to the Coastal pack. Alpha Braxton promised them safety despite who Ben's biological father was. In fact, the last time Zylee had talked to Anne had been over the phone three days ago, and Braxton had decided to have Ben be his heir for the position of Alpha for the Coastal pack. They all thought it was incredibly big and good of Braxton to show that he truly didn't hold Ben accountable for his father's sins. Anne was incredibly happy with the situation and said Braxton has truly become a father figure for the young man, and they credited their bliss to Zylee finishing Vaxon off once and for all.

"I'm home!" Al called out once he was through the door. The boys' ears perked up and Zylee's thoughts were returned to the present. The boys immediately stopped playing with their mother and ran to the door. Their eagerness to see their father reminded Zylee that even though she was their parent too, she was not the favorite parent.

"Dad!" They squealed in unison. Zylee struggled to get up off the floor but eventually got up. She went to the door to see her mate holding his two sons in his arms.

"My love," Al greeted Zylee with a smile.

"My old man," Zylee replied to her mate with a smirk. Al put the boys back on the ground and wrapped his arms around his mate.

"You shouldn't have called me old man," Al teased then kissed Zylee.

"Eww!" The two boys cried out.

The couple pulled back and looked at the boys. A small laugh fell from their lips as they saw Lincoln gagging while Wren covered his brown eyes, both exaggerating their disgust at the affectionate display.

"How was the meeting?" Zylee asked Al. Sensing the conversation was about to take a boring turn the boys ran into the other room and resumed playing.

"It went perfectly. White Lake's new alpha has been officially recognized by the other packs," Al answered.

"That's great and how is Carter feeling about finally being recognized?" Zylee asked with a small smile.

"He seemed pretty happy," Al replied, "Well how is little Vector doing today?" Al placed his hand on Zylee's swollen stomach. She put her hand over her husband's and let out a little sigh. "He's very hyper today," She told him.

"Hey, where's your ring?" He asked her with a small frown after he glanced down at her hand.

"My hand was too swollen. I miss when we were first mated and my wolf side was stronger," Zylee whined slightly.

"Sorry to tell you honey but you're back to being half and half. No more wolf talking in your head and no more non-swelling werewolf pregnancies," Al told her then placed a chaste kiss on her forehead.

"Mom! Dad! Are we going to eat?" Lincoln called out from the other room.

"Yeah, Mom I'm starving!" Wren yelled out.

"Are you starving my children?" Al asked Zylee with a raised eyebrow.

Her jaw dropped and she quickly replied, "No I'm not!"

Lincoln ran back into the room that his parents were in and asked his dad, "Hey Dad, since you're the Alpha King could you order Mom to make dinner?"

Zylee frowned at the same time that Al started laughing. "I can't actually. Mom is Queen Luna so she has just as much power and authority as I do," Al answered his son while messing his hair up.

"Mom, could you order Dad to make dinner?" Lincoln asked turning to his Mom.

"I'm not going to order your Dad to do anything. I will order you though. Lincoln go get the pot from out of the bottom drawer for me," Zylee ordered her son.

"Okay Mom," Lincoln replied then ran into the kitchen as fast as his little feet could carry him.

They watched their son go with smiles on their faces. "It's really hard to love those guys sometimes," Zylee grumbled.

"Not me right? I'm a guy, but I'm not included in that right?" Al asked playfully.

"Not you. I love you," Zylee promised her mate.

"I love you too," Al told her. They then went into the kitchen to feed their sons while holding hands.
