"So do you train every day?" Sheryl asked me as I continued to drag Al towards the fire pit. Al planted his foot and refused to move. I tugged on his arm so hard that an audible pop came from his shoulder and he let out a groan of pain.

Al started his steps again and I replied, "Yes."

"Can we stop for a second so I can put my shoulder back in place?" Al asked me with a grumpy voice.

"No way. I know you well enough to know that you're not actually in pain and you will get away if we stop," I told him. Al glared at me as I tugged his arm back into place and got his pace to go faster.

"So what is your training schedule like?" Lindsay asked me.

"Regular wolf training than a few hours of hunter training," I answered. The two girls wandered behind my mate and I like lost puppies, shooting questions here and there. I wish Jerry were still here to answer some of these for me. Stupid Jerry always having to be with his mate.

"Could you teach us some of the hunter training?" Sheryl asked. Al decided while I was thinking over her question to become a limp noodle.

"Are you serious right now!" I yelled at him. Al just smiled at me and nodded his head like a smug child.

"Al get up and actually go to the fire pit!" I ordered him.

"No! I don't want to be responsible for people anymore," Al argued.

"You're already responsible for them!" I snapped back. He even said so when we left to come here. He literally said that he was responsible for them.

Al let out a groan of complaint but stayed quiet since he knew that it was true, and I resisted the urge to smack him. "Girls grab a leg," I commanded them. They nodded their heads quickly and scrambled towards Al.

"If you touch me I'll make you regret it," Al threatened. The two girls stumbled to a halt.

"Girls I'll protect you," I promised them.

"There's only so much my mate can do, and what would you really gain from it?" Al tried to convince them.

"If you do it I'll train you two like a hunter," I said. The girls looked at each other and then nodded their heads in a silent agreement. The girls both grabbed a leg of Al's and we started to go to the fire pit immediately.

"Oh come on!" Al complained but kept his limp state.

"Ignore him girls the fire pit is only about 40 feet away!" I told them. We shuffled using our werewolf speed to get to the fire pit as fast as we could. Once we were seen through the trees by Carter he yelled out my name making us stop.

"Carter, help us get him over there!" I called back. Carter understood the situation and sprinted over to us. Carter hoisted Al onto his shoulder then started to carry him the rest of the way.

"Carter, if you don't put me down I'll tear your throat out," Al threatened the brown-eyed man.

"Carter, if you put him down I will cut off your hand then make you eat your stubby little corpse fingers!" I threatened Carter. Carter's face paled and Al looked at me with horrified shock.

"Sorry Alpha, but that was just plain out terrifying," Carter said pointing to me.

"Yeah... you're making the right call," Al agreed still looking at me in shock. My face remained stoic as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Just follow me. Is everyone here?" I inquired.

"They're all waiting for you guys," Carter answered. I started to walk again and I could hear the other's footsteps behind me.
