The sun was going down and we were waiting at the fire pit for everyone else. The wind howled slightly in the background as one by one everyone took their usual spots. The sunset's beautiful colors died down and before we knew it the sun was down.

Darkness devoured the area and I couldn't help but think that it was fitting. The only thing lighting up the meeting was the big bright moon and the clear stars. Everyone sat in a chilled silence like they knew what this meeting was about already. They probably did, to be honest. They have waited their entire time in hiding for moments like this. I could feel the seriousness of the moment mound up and as I looked out at the wolves in the crowd I could tell that they did too. My heart was straining up until my aunt and uncle entered the area of our designated fire pit.

Jerry and Hayley were the last to come and their entrance wasn't exactly quiet.

"If we meeting at a fire pit at night then we're damn sure gonna met by an actual fire. Somebody light that sucker up!" Jerry yelled as they made their way to their seats.

"Jerry, a fire isn't necessary," I told my uncle slightly embarrassed. He is giving all humans a bad name. Why couldn't he just leave it?

"Like hell, it isn't! I'll start a fire right now," Jerry declared then shot up from his log seat and went to the pit.

"Jerry we need to start," Al said.

"You can start," Jerry replied as he walked past us, "But I'm cold and it's very dark out here. So me and my little human hunter butt is gonna start a fire while you start." He got a lighter out of his pocket and started to shuffle together some of the wood that was in the pit. A few seconds later there was a healthy fire in the pit and Jerry walked away with content.

'Is it bad that the only thing that I'm bothered by with all this is that your uncle has a lighter?' Al mind linked me quickly.

I thought about it briefly before answering, 'No, you're right. It's concerning.'

"Well now that Jerry is satisfied with our surroundings we should start," Al said as Jerry made his way back to his wife and acted like our brief conversation never happened.

"I have a plan to get rid of Vaxon once and for all, but in order for it to work I would need all of you," Al told everyone.

"Of course Alpha, anything you need," Judy replied.

"I must warn you that it'll be very dangerous for all of you," Al warned them.

"We're in danger all the time anyways. At least this way we have a plan," Anne said.

"He hasn't even told you what the plan is and you're all ready to do it without hesitation?" I asked in shock.

"I've never seen one of Alpha's plans fail. If he has a plan then it'll work," Dave answered. Okay... was not expecting that from him.

"Well alright then. What's the plan?" Nora asked.

"So everyone is in?" Carter inquired. Everyone nodded their heads and vocalized their want to participate.

"Listen closely everyone, here's what we're gonna do," Al started as everyone listened intensely.
