"Looking for me Vaxon?" Al called out after he made sure I was hidden safely behind a nearby tree.

"I'm always looking for you. However, I've heard the one we both should be looking for might be close by. She might get precedence," A grumbly voice replied and caused tremors to run down my back. His tone gave me the impression that he was looking forward to killing my mate and me.

"What makes you say she?" Al questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"I checked up on the White Lake Pack. Their alpha wasn't the one... then I heard he had a sister," The deep voice answered. When was he at White Lake?

"I didn't get a report about your little visit to White Lake," Al growled.

"That's because the only witness was that alpha himself. Got him to kill one of the little pests who follow me around sometimes and well... we both know what happens when those hybrids kill," Vaxon chuckled as he revealed the information.

I felt myself let out a little gasp. He was the reason my brother went crazy. He's the reason I had to kill Tyler!

'Don't let him get into your head. Stick to the plan,' Al mind linked me.

'He basically just admitted to murder!' I replied.

'I know. He has many sins to pay for, but this is the only way to stop him,' Al reasoned with me.

'Just get him to the damn spot so we can end this,' I ordered then cut off the mind link.

"You shouldn't rejoice in that kind of thing," Al called over to Vaxon.

"Why not? It's not like anyone's going to stop me?" Vaxon teased.

"What about the one from the prophecy?" Al asked with a small smirk on his face.

"Please I'm not foolish. There hasn't been a sighting of the girl in months. Not since after you visited White Lake. You can fool everyone else that you would never kill anyone without cause, but I know you better. For centuries now all you've wanted is a little mate, maybe a kid or two to seal the deal. You wouldn't let some little girl from a prophecy take that all away from you," Vaxon said trying to get into Al's head.

"You're right. I wouldn't let some little prophecy take that all away from me," Al confessed causing Vaxon to let out a chuckle.

"See, you already killed the girl. She's here but six feet under. There's no one to stop me," Vaxon declared confidently.

I heard the leaves crunch as Vaxon must have taken steps towards Al. Just a little bit more.

"Ahhh!" A deep yell erupted from the figure out of my view.

I took in a deep breath. Time to shine.

I stepped out from behind the tree and for the first time ever beheld the monster that was the first rogue.

His hair was silver and shortly cut which made it easy to see where all the scars in his hair disrupted the growth. He had one eye that was red which was glaring at me in anger. His other eye was obviously a fake glass one which was black. Scars deformed his face and made him seem more beast than man. He was tall though with muscles to match. He held an aura of fear and death around him that almost made me gulp despite the fact that his hand was impaled with an arrow against a tree.

His red eye glared at me then he asked, "Am I supposed to be impressed by you?"

"No," I answered then got the gun from out of my waistband and aimed it at his head, "You're supposed to be terrified."
