You Did What?!

Adi's POV

Seriously, what had happened today? Here I was, drooping lazily as Professor Binns went floating around, giving boring lectures about Goblin Rebellions of the 13th century when Sharvee entered the classroom panting, her face as red as a tomato. To no one's surprise, Binns didn't notice a thing as she hastily sat down besides me and Alex.
'Wow, Shovel. I had no idea you could blush that hard,' I said. 'Shut up!' She whispered. 'Hmm, something is definitely up, and you're not telling us!' Shreni said in a mocking way. That girl could definitely put up a whole lot of drama.
'Is it Snape?' Alex asked, smirking.
Shovel slowly nodded. 'Well, tell us! You're taking a bit too long!' I complained. 'I am nervous, okay?' She snapped, annoyed. 'Okay, okay. Do it nice and slow.' Alex said, laughing.

'Well, I umm, I- I kissed him. I kissed Snape.' She blurted out and immediately buried her head in her hands. 'You WHAT?' I said, a bit too loudly. Shreni was laughing her head off and Alex was paralysed with shock. 'Shhh!' She hissed and shot me a glare. 'Will you keep quiet, Shreni? I'm trying to tell you something here!' She said. 'Okay, I'm sorry,' Shreni said, still trying to control her laughter. 'How did it happen?'
'Well, it just- happened! I don't know why I did it,'
I had gained enough time to recover. 'Well, what happened, happened, right? Its okay,' I said.

'I wanted to kiss him!' Alex said. I did not see that coming. Apparently, neither did Shreni or Sharvee. All three of us looked at her, wide-eyed. 'You what?' Sharvee asked her, somewhat confused. 'Well, I liked him too. But it's okay, I guess. No problem. Kiss him again for me, would you?' She said while batting her eyelashes, which made me laugh. 'You are impossible, Alex,' Sharvee said, rolling her eyes.

After the class, I was heading towards the Gryffindor Common Room, grinning smugly to myself. Remembering our reaction to Sharvee's words. I had almost screamed. Alex was paralysed, and Shreni had almost fallen from her seat while laughing her head off. But I was instantly brought back to the present as someone bumped into me.
'Hey, watch where-'
I stopped in mid-sentence as I looked up, only to see Brain Black, the Griffindor prefect looking at me. It was as though all the Gryffindor nerve and daring was knocked out of me as I stood there, unable to move. Brian chuckled at my condition, and with a quick wink, climbed through the portrait and into the Common Room. Leaving me outside in the corridor, blushing, just as Sharvee had been, not a long time ago.

What was the matter with me?
