Sharvee's POV

The DADA class was fun, we spent time doing random shit instead of studying because no one really felt like it. I didn't have much in mind, though the 'you haven't been completely honest' stuck with me. What did she mean by that? Did she know about Snape? Did she know about...something else? I was honestly getting anxious but we had to stay.

Everyone walked out, but some of them were giving me nervous or questioning looks. I ignored them, I didn't want their looks adding to the anxiousness. After everyone was gone, I got up and sat on the teacher's table. I crossed my legs and looked up to find Miss Maya staring at me.

Kaylee came and sat down near us while Saksham and Daisy were stuffing their bags with parchment and ink.

I sighed and looked at Miss Maya. 'The explanation?' She fiddled with the pen in her hand. Why did she bring a pen here? Weird. 'Well, I didn't have the nicest time here. I mean yes I did, but no.' I nodded. 'Makes complete sense, doesn't it, Daisy?' Daisy looked up and said, 'Huh?'

Saksham pressed his lips together. 'Stop being so rough on her, Shovel. She must have a valid reason. Why would she do it otherwise? Right?' He said, looking at Miss Maya.

She put on her serious face and sat on top of the bench near us. 'Well, Snape.'

I almost felt that someone had hit my face with a slab of ice, and also anger rising up in me. 'Snape?' She nodded. 'I- we, were...acquaintances. And, a lot of other things happened. A relationship. Cheating,' She sneered. 'The only things that can be expected of filth.'

Daisy stopped rummaging through her bag and I heard Saksham squeeze a glass bottle of ink to death. Huh? Snape did what?

Kaylee jumped out of her seat with her wand out. 'That's it, that's the last straw. That little shit is about to find out how much he fucked up.' I slid in front of her. 'Hey, hey, not so fast.'

I turned to talk to Miss Maya. 'Something...similar, happened with me and Snape too. Wait, the exact same thing actually,' I took out my wand. 'Now we can go.' Miss Maya grabbed both of our shoulders. 'No.' I frowned. 'Why?'

'I don't want you to get in trouble. Also,' she looked sideways at me. 'I thought that we were supposed to be completely honest? There's...a lot of things you left out.' I smiled sheepishly. 'Well, being in a relationship with your professor doesn't sound too good, does it? Also, I swear if you bring up the other things I'm gonna jump out the window.' She smirked. 'I've known for a long time, Sharvee. Also seriously? Snape?'

I blushed but managed to cross my arms in defiance. 'Okay, wow. And also yes. Why does everyone keep saying that? Also this is getting more and more ironic by the second.' I said.

Daisy walked to the front with a deluxe quill in her hand. 'Hey, everyone knows what she's talking about! So how about,' she turned to me, smirking. 'You confessing?'

Saksham took out his wand and cast an Imperturbable Charm on the door. 'Now that sounds interesting.' I managed to not blush, but I couldn't stop shuffling my feet. I also couldn't help but decide to yeet Daisy out of the classroom window for this. 'No.' Kaylee looked at me with false sympathy. 'Wh not? Scared of your darkest secret- which everyone already knew, by the way -spilling out?'

I calmly (as calmly as I could, anyway, with all the mentally laughing at my ego and planning murder) looked out the window and said, 'No, because I know y'all are teasing me.'

Miss Maya looked at me with satisfaction. 'Just wanted to-' she took out her wand and cast a tickling charm at me. '-get my revenge.' I doubled down laughing. 'I'm- sorry, -okay?' She lifted the charm and put on the straightest face she could possibly put on.

'This has been fun but I have another classes to prepare,' she said, helping me up. 'Oh, and also to punch Snape. Off y'all go.''
