New Year

Sharvee's POV

'And yeah, so we basically saved the world,' I completed my explanation of how me and my friends saved the alternate universe. 'And...you didn't wake me up?' He asked. 'It was, uh, kind of like a friends adventure. Also, a person named Chen isn't quite happy with you. Someone's giving him way too much homework, isn't that right, honey?' I said, quickly changing the subject.

Snape looked quite happy at my statement. 'I know right? Mcgonagall never shows mercy to my house's kids,' I looked at him with raised eyebrows.

'Alright! I gave him the homework. Why does he hang out with you? I don't like that dude,' it sounded as if his words had been forced out of his mouth. I looked at him ruefully. 'Jealousy is healthy, but you have to know how to cope with it. Also, I had friendzoned him like, years ago,' I smirked, remembering my last conversation with him.

He didn't seem adviced by my advice. 'Look here, Severus. I get jealous too. Seeing those girls all around you, how they want you with their side...I just want to slap them right smack dab in the middle of their face. But I cope with it. You know how? I always know, that at the end of the day, you aren't going anywhere. You're not gonna cheat. I can count on you,' he calmed down somewhat. 'I'll try,' he smiled. *FUCK THIS. THIS IS TOO CHEESY.*

'Severus?'
'Yes?'
'Can I get up from your lap? I have to go and help the rest of the common room with the New Year's decorations and shit,' He groaned and tightened his grip around me. 'Why? Can you stay, for like a minu-' BAM. Daisy burst into Snape's quarters like it was her own home. I quickly jumped out of Snape's lap.

Daisy smirked. 'I saw that,' I rolled my eyes. 'I don't care. And we had talked about not bursting into here while we're having alone time! Also, what the fuck happened?' I said, though I was a little pink.

'Well, if you don't care, why are you not letting me burst in on you?' Daisy retorted, unconvinced. 'Well, I prefer you not doing it but I still don't care,' I shot back. 'Are you gonna tell us why you're here? Or am I gonna go back to us having some alone time with an Imperturbable Charm on to keep you out?' Grumbled Snape.

'Geez. Fine. The people back at the Slytherin common room need Sharvee's help. They want her with them so she can guide them through the decorating part,' Daisy said, rolling her eyes. She then turned to me. 'You're needed at the common room. Chen said, and I quote, "Even if she's getting married, dancing the Macarena with Dumbledore or going to the Forest with Snape, you have to yank her by the collar and get her ass here because we're competing with the other houses for the best decorated common room and the pressure is totally on her."'

There was a moment of silence. Then Snape and I exchanged a look.
'Chen deserves the homework, doesn't he?'
'Definitely,' I agreed. But I had to go, I guess? I just couldn't turn down the whole house by being selfish and spending the rest of the night with Snape and blissfully ignoring the others.

I turned to Daisy. 'Okay I'll come. But Sn- um, Severus should definitely come with, don't you think?'

I could feel Snape desperately shaking his head at Daisy behind my back, but Daisy grinned. 'Of course! Then everyone can get to know each other, especially our friend circle.' She looked at Snape. 'Especially you and the friend circle. Aren't you excited, Professor?' She asked, emphasising on the word 'Professor'. I was thinking that every single one of my bestfriends deserved atleast two times the homework they usually had today.

Snape looked like he was about to punch a wall, but then he looked at me and said, 'Sure, but make sure that its only us in the common room. I don't want the younger kids finding out,' he said. Daisy looked confused. 'About what? You helping us?'
'What? No, me and Sharvee being together. They'll definitely get suspicious because you went to get Sharvee and came back with the both of us,' he explained.

'And Sharvee?' He said.
'Yeah?'
'Put some clothes on,' he said.

And then he looked at the readers and repeated, 'Put on some clothes which are acceptable, like the school uniform. You're supposed to be out doing a task for me,'
'Sure thing,' I said and kissed him and then went on to change my shorts and tee into the uniform. *HAHA GOTCHU*

After I was done, I turned TOO the other two. 'Let's go,' I said in forced enthusiasm.

We walked quickly, making sure that we didn't stop anywhere for anything. When we finally entered the common room, there was an uproar.

'Where were you?!'
'What the FUCK took you so long?'
'You KNOW that we need your help you can't just-' Chen stopped mid-sentence as he noticed Snape. 'Yes?' I thought you were in the middle of lecturing Sharvee,' Snape sneered.

Chen rolled his eyes. 'I have no interest in getting extra homework,' Snape seemed satisfied. 'Now that's more like it. Now what do we have to do?'

I just looked at him and grinned. 'Just watch and learn, honey. Watch and learn,' a bit taken aback at my statement, he quietly backed away like I was a panther (wink wink) and said, 'Okay then. Let's see what actually the great Shovel is wanted here for.' Then he sat down on the velvety black couches in front of the fireplace.

I smirked. 'So be it,' I pulled out my wand, but first imagined what the common room should look like. But what I imagined was the full picture. I could do a lot of spells, but there had to be certain things that had to be done by hand. I've found out that my mind is a chaotic place to be and in the excitement of the situation, I don't properly imagine something. So either it has to be a replica that I'm copying, or a thought-out project. And I don't have time to think this through. I'm too full of things to think about.

After having a rough picture of how everything would look, I divided the common room so that every part had a place to sit and some room to decorate.

This will be it for today as I have a lot of shit to write, and also because my deadline was for the New Year's Eve (its past new year's eve :/)
And also also,
I'm going to try to make my updates periodic. Every time I post a part, the next part will be posted exactly a week after. No delays, but I'll probably post earlier if I feel like it and am writing other chapters.
