Chapter 8: Golden Aura

The sun rose over the horizon of mt. Moon waking our 3 friends after a long night full of dreams. the first one to wake up was Mew laying on her brothers chest wile he's hugging her, she giggled knowing she couldn't move too much or she will wake Ash or Serena.

Ash and Serena were both waking up at the same time duo to being in each other's arms from the night before. As they woke up they noticed how they were cuddling together and quickly separated from each other blushing like crazy. "I'm sorry" Said Serena said sounding guilty "I accidentally rolled on you while we were sleeping" Ash looked at Serena and then his eyes caught Mew trying to hold her laughter so he was able to put two and two together

"Don't worry Serena It wasn't your fault it seems that we have a little prankster in our group" directing his glare at Mew for that last part. "I don't know what your'e talking about" mew looked at him with an innocent look. "Mew" Mew sighed and looked at the floor "I'm sorry big bro it's just that I saw that Serena had a Rough sleep so I had to think of something and this was the only thing that came in mind. I hope you're not angry"

Both teens looked at each other and smiled "It's fine Mew we're not angry" Ash said as e put is hand on his sister's shoulder "Really?" Mew asked wit hope in her voice "of course not you did it to help me so I'm not angry just next time don't use your powers on us ok?" Serena added. Mew looked at her friends and hugged them both causing everyone to laugh a little until it was stopped by Pikachu's thunderbolt as he was trying to sleep

After everyone showered at the lake they went to the edge of the flower field to start Serena's aura training. "ok Serena this is the perfect spot for you to start your training" Ash said with a smile "Why?" Serena asked the two siblings. Mew giggled "you see aura is the power of nature and for you to use that power you need to be one with nature" Mew said, she then proceeded to pick up a flower and gave it to Serena "I need you to smell that flower Serena" Mew asked from Serena

Serena did as instructed but she didn't feel different at all she just felt very relaxed from the sweet scent "How is this suppose to help me?" Serena asked "You need to try and connect with nature" Mew said happily "Serena I want you to smell that flower again but this time close your eyes and concentrate. you have to feel the flower and try to see it's power" Ash instructed

Serena closed her eyes and focused she took a big breath and smelled the flower again, she felt relaxed again but she didn't let this deceive her she concentrated and tried to sense the power coming from the flower. Serena relaxed and felt the world around her, the warm sun on her skin the wind carrying the flower's smell to her nose, the trees shaking in the distance from all the Pokemon living in them and she felt Ash's and Mes shadows on her. Serena keep focusing on the flower but all she could see was darkness she tried again and the same result occurred, she tried again but this time to her surprise she saw little blue flames coming from he flower the flames kept growing until they were the size of grapes, the flames connected together and to Serena's excitement made the outline of a flower

"I'm seeing it! I'm seeing it!!" Serena yelled excitedly "Good job Serena!" both siblings said at the same time. Serena looked up to her friends but wasn't ready for what's coming next, Ash's aura was glowing strong gold and almost blinding Serena because of it's brightness. "Ahhh!!" She yelled shocked, her vision turned normal again and she was panting on the grassy field "What happened?!" Ash asked in a concerned tone "Are you ok?! Serena please" he pleaded for an answer scared that something has happened

"I'm fine it's just that I feel really dizzy" Serena replied. Ash breath a large sigh of relief "What happened Serena?" Mew asked confused and worried, in her life she never felt like how Serena was feeling to her aura always made her feel happy and calm but not dizzy like Serena. "It was Ash's aura, It glowed so brightly in a golden color" at that moment silence fell on everyone even the wind stopped and the Pokemon in the trees began looking over to the human girl that screamed

Ash and Mew just gave each other blank stares not moving and inch but quickly recovered "Golden aura?" Mew asked surprised "Yes is that something strange of dangerous?" Ash smiled at her while his eyes became red like he was going to burst crying any second now "N.. no it's not dangerous don't worry. Mew can you take care of her i need some time alone" and with that Ash walked away.

Serena looked confused and a little hurt be Ash's behavior, why would he leave at such moment did she say something wrong that upset him? she did saw him almost crying but he had a smile on his face at the same time? Serena needed some answers so she went to the closest source

"Mew? what's wrong with him did I do something wrong?" Mew gave her a big smile which only made Serena more confused "Don't worry you did nothing wrong he was just taken back, you seeing his aura glow gold is really important to him" She said still smiling "But what does golden aura means?" Serena asked curious. Mew sighed and shook her head "I'm afraid it's not my place to tell you only Ash can" Serena didn't get any of this why are they so mysterious about all of this?

"Well I need to go talk to him, Serena for now I want you to meditate, you have to focus so next time stuff like that won't happen to you" Mew instructed "And don't worry if I know my brother you'll get an answer tonight" and with that she turned into her Pokemon form and flew at high speed towards ash

With Ash

After hearing about what Serena saw Ash had to think and be alone for a while. "She saw my aura golden.. I... can't believe that, She does feel th same after all.." Ash broke down crying as he learned how Serena really feel, he was overjoyed and felt like he could do everything at that moment but after a little time alone he calmed down and set on the ledge of the mountain looking at the horizon

"You know you have to say something eventually right big bro?" Ash turned around to see his little sister smiling at him, Mew transformed to he human form and sat near Ash to talk to him. "I know but you didn't tell her right I want to do tat myself" Mew shook her head "No I didn't tell her but I did promise her that you'll tell her tonight" Ash smiled at his sister "Thank you Mew for understanding how important this is for me" Mew Looked down at the ground sighed before jumping on Ash hugging the life out of him

"I can't believe it!! it's finally happening!! so... when is the wedding?" Mew asked him with an innocent look "Mew!!!" Ash shouted red from embarrassment "That's not funny" Mew couldn't hold it anymore and burst out laughing "What am I ever gonna do with you little sis" Ash calmed down and gave his sister a side hug

"I don't know about me but you need to plan how to tell her" Ash sighed "I know but I need time so could you please train her for the rest of the day for me to plan?" Mew nodded and hugged her brother overjoyed for him. Ash gave Mew a kiss on the forehead as a thank you and she flew off back to Serena

"So tonight is the night ha?" He thought to himself, put up a smile and started to think about his plan for tonight
