Chapter 17: a Z-Gift!

Mew flew through the corridor in great speed. After she heard her dad's voice she couldn't but to get excited, she had a smile on her face, happy to see her dad after all this time. She got to the battlefield, and there he was smiling back at her and standing proudly in the middle, waiting for her. "Daddy!" Mew shouted excitedly. She flew on is head and gave him a big hug "I missed you!" She exclaimed with a sad tone "I missed you to my baby girl" Arceus said with a smile

Mew blushed from the statement "maybe I shouldn't call you that anymore considering how much you grew" Arceus continued "I am so proud of you Mew" Mew beamed from the compliment "Really?" She asked the alpha Pokemon "Really" He said with smile "Now where is you big brother?" Arceus asked "He's with Serena in his old room" Mew replied with a smile "Why didn't you tell me about this? I mean training Ash here?" She Genuinely asked "your brother's request. I won't say more"

At that moment the Doors to the battlefield opened revealing Ash and Serena, with Serena hugging her boyfriend's arm and him resting his head on top of her's. "Here you are my son!" Arceus said in a proud fatherly tone "Dad! long time no see" Ash said back walking down to meet him. once down he left Serena and gave is father a hug "I missed you" He softly said to his father "I missed you to Ash" Arceus said back hugging his son with his head. once they separated Ash took Serena's hand again and stood next to her

"and good to see you too, Serena" Arceus said directing his attention to her. Serena felt embarrassed but thanks to Ash holding her hand regained her confidence. "Good to See you Arceus" She said back. Arceus smiled "It'd heart warming to see my chosen ones growing on their journeys I proud Serena and of course you too son" He said. Ash and Serena blushed from the compliment "thank you" they both said together. Arceus smiled "congratulation by the way you two, It's the first time in history that two chosen ones got together and i couldn't be happier that it's you two" He said proud that his two children finally got what they most desired

Both Ash and Serena madly blushed from Arceus's statement covering their face with they hands until Mew came out of nowhere and forced them all into a group hug. "come on big bro don't be embarrassed dad is just complimenting you for not being a dense dummy" She jokingly said "Mew!" He called mad. Ash tries to catch her but she was to fast for him and teleported near Arceus "Come back here!" He said to his little sister "I love your childish behavior but I don't think it's the right time" Serena said to him gently "She's right Ash we have more important things to talk about"

Ash calmed down and gave Serena a kiss on the cheek. He then turn his attention back to his father "What important things?" He asked. Arceus sighed "let's make it quick I don't have the time" He said "May i ask why, Arceus?" Serena squeaked "Palkia told me that more of those ultra wormholes appeared in Alola again and without Ash, the ultra guardians aren't strong enough to handle them" He said with a sigh. Serena just looked at Ash in confusion but his look just told her that not now is the time

"well, Serena" Arceus started and Serena just gave him the same confused look like she gave to Ash "I wanted to give you this" just then a white bracelet came floating down to Serena with 18 glowing crystals surrounding it in a circle "is that..?" Ash started but was cut by Arceus "this, my dear child is a Z-ring" he pointed towards the bracelet with his right leg "combined with a Z-crystal it give you the Power to use a Z-move" He said presenting the Z-ring to Serena who took it and wore it on her right arm "I won't go into the details on how to use it, but Ash already have one so he can teach you, I suppose?" he asked his son quickly who just nodded "I guess just like me tapu LeLe saw greatness in you"
