Chapter 28: Traitors and Heroes

It was a bright sunny kalosien day in lumiose city. 15 characters were walking down the streets towards the giant stadium that hosted the Kalos league a decade back. "come on Let's go" said Bonnie, a 15 years old Pokemon trainer and tugged her brother's shirt "Bonnie you know we planned to go eat first" Clemont said and took Bonnie's hand "Your brother is right Bonnie, and you don't need to worry we have plenty of time to register for the tournament" Max told his girlfriend" and side hugged her, Bonnie melted into the hug as nodded with a huge grin. All of them walked for a while before eventually arrived at a cafe to eat in. Clian talked to a waiter who walked them to their table and took their orders

"People say this place is really something you know" Clian said and smiled "you only flatter them so you can talk to the chefs, right?" Mat asked and elbowed him, giving a questioning look. Clian sweatdropped and took one of the loafs of bread that the waiter just placed on their table in embarrassment. Quickly the conversation shifted towards the upcoming tournament and everyone's strategies but both Bonnie and max were clearly bored, they have talked enough about their strategies in the plane so Bonnie decided to have some fun with her partner ,Dedenne. She took a piece of bread and crammed it into a couple of little balls for Dedenne to chase and eat. the two kept this game until the food arrived making Bonnie drool. She threw the last ball for Dedenne but because she was almost hypnotized by the amount of tasty food Bonnie accidentally threw it to high up resulting in Dedenne jumping up to catch it in his mouth and in the process falling onto someone's feet

Bonnie rushed to grab Dedenne from the stranger, completely forgetting about the food. She took the little hamster and bowed her head to apologize "I'm very sorry mister, I accidentally  made Dedenne jump on you"  Bonnie lifted her head only to be greeted by not a face, but a mask "Do not worry no harm was done" The stranger said in a calm tone and petted Dedenne's head with his finger "aren't you the energetic one?" he asked. Dedenne cried in happiness and smiled. Bonnie smiled too, seeing as the man wasn't angry and Dedenne got a pet that made him happy "I'll be going back to my table and I'm sorry again" A Girl, wearing the same mast as the other stranger smiled "goodbye" She said and placed her head on the male. That made Bonnie smile, she loved couples like that, that's the reason she fought so hard to get her brother a wife. But that act and that smile reminded Bonnie of something, someone. She haven't seen Ash and Serena since the day they said goodbye to the two in the airport after they finished their journey across Kalos and she really missed them. As Bonnie turned around the female spoke to her supposed boyfriend "good job for not losing your cool" she said and kissed him on the cheek, leaving Bonnie confused

The group finished eating their meal and exited the cafe "who want's to go shopping?" Dawn asked and all the girls cheered. the boys on the other hand were lest happy about their decision but Clemont, being the smart one, quickly thought of a plan. "how about you girls go shopping and we will take care of rooms for tonight" he suggested with sweaty hands, really hoping this would work. all the girls looked at each other and then nodded "you won this time" misty hissed sanding shivers through everyone's spines, especially Brock's. "I'll go with them" said Bonnie and hugged Max's arm "I know you would probably do something you'd regret so.. I'm coming with you" Bonnie smiled and melted into the hug. Max chuckled kissed Bonnie's cheek "you just want to go with me, don't you?" he asked teasingly. Bonnie giggled "Maybe~" and with that both groups set off

Brock, Clemont, Clian, Go, Max and Bonnie arrived at the Pokemon center near the stadium to register for the tournament. "so, Clian and I will go and checkup some rooms for us and in the meantime you can go and register" Brock said and went to talk to nurse joy. "come on you two" Clemont said and took Bonnie's and, leading her and max to the registration machine. there were only 2 people using it, not surprising giving the fact the gang arrived pretty early. "Arron Tajiri, Registered." the machine printed out a card "This card shows you're a participant in the Pokemon Master tournament. Good luck" Bonnie took a seek peak at the card which looked like this:
