Chapter 30: Jerks

"And that's the whole story.." Serena finished explaining. Delia and Grace stood silently as they were trying to take in everything "I know this is crazy but We have to do this" Ash said "if we don't win this tournament who knows what horrible thing could happen" Serena added. Grace and Delia kept their silent until a smile appeared on their faces "if your dad believes in you I see no reason why we shouldn't" Delia said "right Grace?" Grace nodded in response "you've grown so much I know you can win!" she said proud and determined. Ash and Serena smiled, the knew their mothers were understanding but they didn't expect them to allow such a crucial mission  "we love you and we'll always support you" Delia said and hugged the two in a warm hug "don't ever forget that" Grace added and joined the hug. Ash and Serena smiled and hugged back "hey! I want a hug too!" Mew said and hugged Ash from the back

As they separated Delia's phone rang. she picked it up and held it to her ear "yes?" She asked. some chattering came from the phone "yes this is Delia Ketchum" Delia said and nodded. She turned to Grace "the reception in the hotel said the room is ready" she said much to Grace's surprise "that fast?" She asked. Delia shrugged "apparently" Grace sighed and took Delia's hand "Sorry but we have to go" She told Ash and Serena and started to walk towards the hotel "we'll meet you tomorrow for the opening ceremony!" She called as they got further and further, eventually disappearing into the large building "your mom is as childish as ever big bro" Mew said and giggled. Ash blushed but soon joined to the laughter. Serena rolled her eyes half annoyed "come on you two if we don't hurry there will be no rooms left in the Pokemon center" She said and took Ash's arm is a hug "Sheesh someone is energetic today.." Ash whispered to himself. Serena turned towards him in a swift motion "what was that?" She asked and narrowed her eyes at her fiance "nothing~" He said innocently. Serena playfully punched his arm "you're lucky I love you so much I just can't stay mad at you" She said, trying to hide the cute smile on her face "Ash chuckled" "I love you too" He said and kissed her head much to Serena's delight. "and here they go again" Mew said from behind them and laughed to herself as the three headed for the Pokemon Center

"it's really crowded here don't you think?" Asked Mew "a lot more then it was before" Ash shrugged "probably people coming to register for the tournament" as they were walking towards Nurse joy, it got clear Ash was right. The line to the registration ma machine was huge, almost stretching out of the building, thankfully the line to get a room wasn't that large yet still big so Ash suggested that Serena and Mew would get something to eat dinner and he would take care of the room. After promising to get him something to eat too Mew and Serena left Ash to go look for a place to eat in. "hey Lillian is it ok that I would choose the place this time? I saw a really good place when I was getting ice cream" Serena nodded "of course you can" She said "let's go to a place you'll love for a change" Mew jumped in her place and Dragged Serena across the various streets until they arrived at a pretty cafe just a five minutes walk from Lumiose tower "I saw a lot of people coming here when I was eating my ice cream so I thought maybe this place is good" Mew said with a smile. Serena smiled back "only one way to find out" She said, took Mew's hand and went inside. "Excuse me?" a waiter came to them as they entered the cafe "I'm truly sorry but there are no places left to sit in" She said and bowed "is it fine by you to wait outside until we have a place for you?" Serena smiled "don't be sorry" She said "we were only planing to order here. we can eat outside" The waiter sighed in relief and took a tablet from the reception. After clicking a bunch of times the waiter smiled Serena "would you mind telling me your order now so I can inform the chefs to start making your food?" She asked. Serena nodded and turned to her little sister "Sophia , you wait outside while I take care of the order ok? you can take Riolu with you" she told Mew and released the emanation Pokemon from his Pokeball. Mew nodded and ran outside with Riolu

After Serena made her order she came out to find Mew and Riolu playing with and aura sphere that Mew made, it looked like fun so Serena decided to let Aurora out as well so she can join in. the cute sylveon came out of her Pokeball with a smile and ran to join her friends. 'better check how Ash is doing' She thought and took out her phone to call her fiance. Even after 5 calls he finally answered. "Hey Ash, we ordered food for you" Serena said "thanks" he said and Serena smiled "how is it there?" she asked "not good" She heard Ash sigh "not great, the Pokemon center is out of rooms so I had to go to the hotel" He said "it would take me a while" Serena didn't drop her smile "don't worry" she assured him "we can wait for you" "thanks my angel, I'll be there as soon as I can"  Ash said and the call ended

Serena found a nearby bench to sit on and waited for the food to arrive and smiled as she watched her sister and her Pokemon having fun and playing. She almost started considering to j jowith her Pokemon form when she heard a familiar yet an unwanted voice behind her "Hey you!" it called. Serena didn't even need to turn around to identify the voice as May's voice "you're a real jerk you know that?" Dawn said. Serena didn't even budged and still looked at Mew and her Pokemon with a small smile. "Turn around when we're talking to you!" Misty shouted. Serena finally faced them "Pardon me?" She asked with a calm voice. The girls got mad "why did you have to do this to him?" May asked, angry. Serena still had a very calm look on her face "I have a hard time following, would you please explain what have I done?" She asked innocently "you know exactly what you did!" misty said "you made my friend cry, why did you have to let him down like that?!" Iris shouted with anger "Brock is such a nice guy and you did this to him, he was only trying to impress you" dawn added. Serena chuckled "so I see your friend haven't told you the whole story" she said and called Mew, Riolu and Aurora back. "Hey, Lillian did big bro came back?" Mew asked Serena smiled and hugged her "not yet, but we'll go to him" she said but then an idea came to her mind after seeing Mew's childish yet tired smile "do you want to go into your Pokeball Sophia? I can see you're really tired"she said and held a Pokeball up, completely ignoring the girls'  confused faces. Mew shrugged and yawned "yeah it would be nice"she said, took the Pokeball from her sister's hand and pressed it. In a flash of red light Mew got sucked into the Pokeball making the girls scream. A human? Going into a Pokeball? That's impossible! Serena stood up with Riolu on her shoulder and Aurora wrapping her feelers around her hand "If you don't mind moving a bit I would appreciate it a lot" she calmly said but the girls refused to move "you aren't going anywhere until you explain what that was!" Iris shouted. Serena sighed "I thought it would come to that" she said to herself. Before the girls could even try to figure out what Serena just said her eyes glowed golden and a powerful light came from her body making everyone jump and back off. Which is just what Serena wanted "goodbye" she said and walked away

Guess who broke his computer and now he has to wait a week until it's fixed so now all the chapters in his book would come out late because he has to write on his crappy phone?

I can't believe that happened to me and just in the middle of a holiday too. I'm sorry if you'd have to wait more time for new chapters because let me tell you writing on a phone is not easy. well on the bright side I have more time to think about thee story as a whole which I haven't done yet strangely
