Ash and Pikachu just returned from the Galar region after losing to Leon at the international Pokemon league and are on their way to Pallet town as's home town in the Kanto region to see Ash's mom after a year of traveling and training
"come one Pikachu I'll race ya home" Ash said will picking up speed "Pika!" said the yellow mouse also stating to sprint.
After 10 minutes Ash and Pikachu finally reached home panting hard "I won!" ash exclaimed "pika pi" said Pikachu "How did I cheated?" the boy asked "never mind let's go in I'm sure mom made a lot of food for us maybe even ketchup sandwich" the word Ketchup was enough for Pikachu to start running in full speed to the house wanting his favorite food. "what am I ever gonna do with you Pikachu?" he asked himself while going inside the house
"MOM! I'm HOME!" he called his mother just to be tackled in to a hug "welcome home sweetie did you have a fine time in Galar?" she asked "I would.. answer this.... if.. I could... breath" Ash said straggling to breath in his mother's bear hug "Oh sorry Ash" Delia replied "guess what" "What is it mom" Delia led Ash in to the kitchen where he found his favorite food like his mom home made sandwich, spaghetti and a lot of Dishes but then his eyes laid on a particularly familiar dessert "Mom is that..." his mom just giggled at is respond and while saying "taste it and tell me yourself" Ash, already knowing the answer take a huge bite out of the baked sweet "It is!!! but... how do you have one of Serena's Pokepuffs?" Delia pointed toward Prof oak's lab "Why don't you find out? there is something spacial in the prof's lab for you"
Ash, excited to see what the surprise is jumped out of his seat and starting to rut to prof oak's lab "Ash!! what about your food?!" but Ash didn't care t the moment eager to arrive already because if he's right this surprise is meant to be the best ever
He is going to see the love of his life again

Short chapter I know but there isn't much to say it's just Ash arriving to Pallet town to see is mom again although i promise you that the next chapter will be the longest chapter so far
