Chapter 9: I Love You Too

Ash was still sitting on the edge of the cliff thinking until the moment he as been waiting for finally arrived, the sun was setting and twilight was shining and smiling at him.

He was ready to tell her everything

Serena didn't really seceded with her meditation as she was thinking about Ash's strange behavior all day. She couldn't really focus and that was getting on her nerve eventually she gave up on her chances to keep going until she talked to Ash

She got up after 4 hours in the sun trying to meditate to find Mew. When Serena got to the tent she saw mew training with Ash's Pokemon, currently she was fighting Lucario and the both looked exhausted, there were a lot of bruises on both Pokemon and it looked like the battle was finished with a tie

When Mew saw Serena she put a halt to the battle and went to talk to her wanting to hear how her training went. "terrible" was her only answer, Mew's normal grin disappeared from her face and now she looked at Serena concerned "Why? what happened was something wrong?" Serena looked at the direction where Ash left and tears started to drop from her eyes "I don't know what I did wrong, He looks so distance from me now and I hate seeing him like that"

Mew put two and two together and gave Serena a little smile and a comforting hug. "Serena I told you before you did nothing wrong, it's just that when he heard about what you saw it got to him and I think he just needed time to himself" Serena looked sad and worried "But if needed time for himself he can still talk to me why is he distancing from us" Mew put her hands on Serena's shoulders and started to tear up

"It's because, right now he isn't thinking about himself he's thinking about you" Serena looked at Mew confused "About me?" Mew nodded "That golden aura is a big deal for him and he want to tell you all about it so go was your face and go talk to him"

Serena nodded put up a weak smile and went to the lake to was herself up. When she finished Serena went to look for Ash. "Now where could he be" She asked herself, Serena wondered around the top of the mountain and searched everywhere, the flower field, the forest even the cave but he was nowhere to be found. eventually she gave up and went to the cliff she loved to sit on in order to watch the sunset

 And that's when she finally found him, sitting on the edge was Ash, his head down and he looked like he was thinking ferociously about something so Serena decided to talk to him

"Hey Ash" she talked gently, Ash jumped from his thoughts panicking but when he saw it was Serena he relaxed and signaled her to sit next to him. After Serena sat down he began talking "So I know you're wondering why I left like that, right" Serena slightly nodded "Well I needed to prepare to ask you something and give you another thing along the way" Ash told her. Serena looked confused "What do you need to ask me?" Ash sighed and mastered up courage "When you saw My aura today you said it was golden correct?" She nodded and Ash continued "I want you to tell me, what did you feel when you encountered it?"

Serena thought for a second and then answered "I saw bright light and I was really dizzy but then I felt weird something I can't really describe" Ash nodded and kept going "And this weird feeling I want you to remember how it felt like and which emotions held you at that moment" Serena entered deep thoughts and didn't said a thing for 5 minutes she just sat there with a strenuous look on her face. "I felt at ease, I felt safe and protected, I felt warmth and Passion but it wasn't mine... I felt like I could do anything but most importantly..." She paused for a second blushing slightly but Ash signaled her to continue "..I felt... Loved"
