Betraying The Legend

Chapter 41: Round one!

Today was the day

The long anticipated tournament is about to begin. Ash, Serena and Mew trained for over 7 years for this tournament. They have to win and obtain the master ball in order to protect the Legendary pokemon and the world. If an evil organization gets a hold of it they'll be able to capture even Arceus himself who entered a 100 year long slumber to rejuvenate his powers leaving his children, the legendary pokemon, to protect him and the world.

Now it was time for the three heroes to show their strength and experience to win the tournament not only for themselves but for the world.

Ash woke up early, unable to contain his excitement. the sun was barely over the horizon and the sky still dark and the young trainer was already wide awake in his bed, looking through the window at the rising sun "just a few more hours and it finally starting" Ash said to himself "this is so exciting!" He was about to get out of bed to start the day but felt something restraining him. Serena, his fiance whom he promised to marry almost 3 years ago was sleeping peacefully next to him and hugging him in her sleep not letting him get up.

Seeing her made Ash smile, he turned to her and engulfed her in a warm hug. "Ash?" Serena's voice called. Ash held her closer to him "sorry Serena" he said and gently kissed her forehead "I woke you up?" Serena stirred up and stretched "yes but it's ok, I love it when I wake up like that" she said and yawned before opening eyes fully and lied back down next to her future husband "it's today isn't it?" Serena asked. Ash nodded "yeah.. this tournament is finally starting! I can't wait for all the battles!" He said excitedly. Serena chuckled, she really loved this part of Ash, the part that was always so determined and excited. The two of them are on a mission to save the world and he's still so enthusiastic.

Serena hugged Ash from the side and snuggled into him. He smiled and hugged her, back bringing the two of them closer together

After three hours of talking and resting in their bed Ash and Serena decided it was late enough into the morning to start their day so while Serena was getting ready Ash went to wake his little sister up. He walked to her room which was behind their bed and found Mew in her human form sleeping, with Pikachu, Sylveon and Aurora cuddling next to her. Ash kneeled down to his little sister "Mew.." he whispered to her and slightly shook her. The little Legendary turned in her sleep "5 more minutes big bro" she said which made Ash chuckle "you need to wake up now Mew" he said and shook her again. Mew yawned and half opened her eyes "I don't want to wake up" she said and turned away from him. Ash shook his head and sighed "come on Mew, do for your big brother?" He pleaded. Mew didn't respond and Ash realized she was asleep again

"Pika pi?" Pikachu's voice came out of the pink yellow bundle next to Mew. The electric type walked drowsily to his trainer and nuzzled his hand "good morning buddy" he said and picked pikachu up "had a good sleep?" Pikachu nodded and climbed onto Ash's head. The young trainer then got an idea and a mischievous smile appeared on his face "hey Pikachu, would you mind helping me wake Mew up?" He asked quietly so Mew wouldn't hear him. Pikachu tilted his head, not understanding the request but when he saw Ash's expression he understood immediately and snickered to himself "ready?" Ash asked his pokemon. Pikachu nodded and Ash backed up

"Pikaaa.... CHUUUU!!!!!"

"Ahhh!" Mew yelled and jumped up from her bed as the yellowy thunderbolt hit her causing her to fall from the bed onto the floor, waking up Sylveon and Aurora in the prosses. "Are you going to wake up now?" Ash asked while trying to hold his laugher. Mew opened her mouth to respond but the only thing that came out of it was a puff of smoke. "Lightweight.." Ash mumbled and kneeled down to her. As soon as Ash said that Mew jumped from the floor and jumped on her brother's back, pulling him off balance making him fall on the bed "I'll show you lightweight!" She said as she sat over Ash victorious and started using her weight to push him on the mattress. "Give up?" She asked him. Ash smirked "never" and one second later he was already behind Mew, pulled her on the bed and started tickling her "ha ha ha ha! Ash please.. Stop!!" She bursted out laughing. Ash moved over from tickling her stomach to tickling her sides which only made laugh more.
