Chapter 12

I was walking down the halls, when a girl my age ran up to me. She handed me a roll of parchment, and ran off. I stuffed it in my bag, and walked to the demigod dorms. When I entered the room, I didn't expect Raven to be there.

"What are you doing her? I didn't realize you still come here." She frowned up at me from the couch.

"I come here when I want to be reminded of when we thought we were sisters, Luke was still with us, and Brianna was still living. Sometimes, I just wonder, where would we be if we had never went on the quest. The whole quest was spent with someone who was already on the dark side. Maybe, just maybe, if we hadn't gone on the quest, would Luke still be at camp, and Brianna in the halls of Hogwarts? We wouldn't even know that we were 'sisters.' It feels like my whole entire life was a lie. Why did you come here?" I sat next to her. Tears had sprung into my eyes.

"Raven, to tell you the truth, I really missed being with you. Brianna can't come back, Hades wouldn't be that kind. As for Luke, we can't lose hope. I don't have any couple feelings for him anymore, I don't really think I ever did, but I just want life to stay as simple as it can be with being a demigod and a witch. I just wish all the pain would go away!" I collapsed into her arms. Both of us were sobbing uncontrollably. Through all our pain, we didn't hear the door open. Once we stopped crying together, we noticed that Caleb, Alisa, and Xavier had come in. They were staring at us with an expression of awe on their faces. Caleb started to creep forward.

"Um... should we ask what is going on? Or should we act like nothing happened?" I smiled at him.

"No, there is something I need to tell you, but first I need to get someone."

A few minutes later, we were sitting in an abandoned classroom. Kevin was sitting next to me. The other demigods were sitting around us. Though all eyes were trained on Kevin. Caleb look awfully upset.

"What is he doing here? He isn't like us!"

"Kevin, can you tell them why you are here?" Kevin grinned.

"Yeah. I was in the hospital wing to see about my half-sister, and Cathy was in there. This woman came in, and I left. When Cathy came out I asked her what had happened, I told her she didn't need to tell me, but she did." Caleb stood up.

"What? Cat why would you tell him? Why-"I raised my hand. Caleb sit down and shut up. Kevin will tell you the result and you need to calm your pits. I can't help that I am naturally easy to get along with. Caleb sat down, looking rather alarmed.

"I, I swear I just heard Cat speaking, but I didn't see her talking." I just smiled at Caleb.

"Raven and I can speak in other people's minds. It was one of the blessings we received from the gods in the summer. Ares and some other god gave us it so that we could tell someone something without anyone hearing what we are saying."

"Does it work if you are really far away from someone, and can't see them?"

"We don't really know. We don't really try often. This was one of the first times I have used it actually.

"Oh, Bell you can go on."

"Catherine Granger is a metamorphous."
