I sit down on the pilots seat, watching the Nav controls and listening to the soft hum of the controls.

Reaching up, I start the long process of undoing my hair from its braids and brushing it.

A crackle comes out from the Comms unit, and a soft but distressed voice.

"Hello? Is there anyone there?"
"I need to make this quick."

The voice is...oddly familiar.

"There is a rebellion going. Against the Starslayer."
"We've blocked his signal so he can't receive this message."
"But we are in Adonis, in the Nyx Star system. Find us."

The voice pauses.

"If...if my children are listening to this, I want them to know to be strong. Kaliis, Saedii, please, stay safe.

"Mother..." I breathe.

"I love you too, so much. Come back to me. Come back to me."
"This is Laleth Gilwraeth, leader of the rebellion, signing off."

My Mother is alive.
My Mother is leading a rebellion against my Father.

And without a second thought, I run out of the room, yelling.

"My Mother is alive!"
