You...left me. You didn't look for me." Aurora sobs, sinking to her knees in the doorway ,"you couldn't care less about me!"
"I was gone for seven months. Seven months of torture. Seven months of hell."

Aurora disappeared seven months ago on a mission, and was never seen again.
We searched for months.

We thought she was dead.

I thought she was dead.

Scarlett sinks down next to Aurora, attempting to comfort her with a touch.

"Do not touch me!" She spits, recoiling and falling.

"Please, Auri, let me help you." Scar murmurs, but doesn't attempt to touch Auri again.

"N-No. No one can help me." She says.

Her stringy hair falls into her eyes, now down to her shoulders. Auroras skin is waxy and sunken, with bruises.

She looks as if you would touch her, she would die.

Her torn, bloodied and ripped clothes cling to her skin, exposing what isn't to be seen.

"Kal, get a jacket." Scar says, reading my mind.

I nod my head, and sprint to my room, grabbing one of my black hoodies and handing it to Aurora.

"No. He— he said that I can't take clothes. It would be bad. He— no! I can't talk about that." Aurora hisses, but Scar hands her the jumper anyway.

"Shh, you're safe here. You're okay." I murmur as she sobs.

"P-please, I cant—"

"Aurora." I say, in a gentle but firm voice ,"you are safe here. You can wear this. He's not here anymore. He can't hurt you."

She shivers, and I slip the jumper on her.

Sniffing, she hugs her knees to her chest and rocks ever so slightly.

"P-Promise?" She asks.

"I promise."

She sighs, and hugs me, her small body fitting perfectly in mine.

"I promise, Aurora."
