Chan was slowly walking towards the stadium. His head was down, his eyes weren't on the ground, but he wanted them to be there. His mood wasn't good, but all he did at this time is to think about Felix and his surprise. He wanted to grab his body and hug it as tight as he could, but Felix wasn't home.
"Surprise!" Someone screamed, as Chan walked through the door of the lockers room. Han jumped out of nowhere and scared Chan quickly. They both looked at each other for a moment and then Chan started laughing.
"I thought you forgot..." he mumbled. "So bad, your best friend didn't wish you a happy birthday. So sad." Chan laughed and hugged Han. Out of nowhere Minho came behind his back and hugged him from there.
"And happy birthday, Chan!" He whispered in his ear. Chan smiled.
"Thank you, Minho!"
"Someone said birthday?" Seungmin and Jeongin came from right and left and hugged the three of them already hugging.
"None of us forgot about your birthday, Chan." Minho told him. Chan laughed out loud. "It's your birthday present that we kept away from you this morning."
"Present? Guys, why did you? I don't need presents, I only need you to support me and..." Chan started, but they took a piece of cloth and blindfolded him. "Oh, no!" He mumbled. "No, no, no, no..." he kept repeating.
"No, yes.... this is the situation, Chan." Minho and Han started to laugh.
"Why did you blindfold me?"
"Because you don't have to know where we are going."
They started walking towards somewhere. Chan could only remember how many turns he had to do and whether they were left or right. So the path they were walking in his head looked like that: three steps, left, forty steps, right, two steps right, five steps left, right, left... and at the end he thought he's where he had in the beginning. He started laughing.
"Why are we making circles?" He asked.
His hands were stretched as soon as Han told him to stop. "Do you see anything?" Han asked him and Chan shook his head in denial. He placed a football ball in his hands and the captain of the team slowly searched it with his fingers.
"A ball?" He asked.
"A ball you would never kick," Seungmin said. Chan wanted to know what was so special. His fingers were slowly tracing the surface and it wasn't just a ball for sure.
"Leather. You had to pay a lot for this one," he said. Han was looking at Minho with a tight smile on his pale face. He was getting more impatient when Chan realized it wasn't just a ball. Seungmin and Jeongin were waiting for a sign from Minho to take off the blindfold. Minho made that sing to Han. Little did they know, Minho was attracted to this boy, so he insisted moving his head making "the sign".
Han took the blindfold off and Chan looked straight ahead. The light coming from the sun made him close his eyes immediately. His friends were super impatient.
Chan took a moment so he could clear his sight and after he focused what was in his hands, he smiled.
"No way!" He said and looked at it from every angle. It was a football ball but autographed by the members from his favorite football team. He smiled, looking at every single one of the autographs. "Where did you get it?"
"Remember when me and Minho were in China?" Han started and Chan looked at him, his sight saying "no freaking way!" And yes, Minho and Han went to China to make this surprise, but little did Chan know that wasn't the only reason. Minho was now looking at Han with a big smile on his face.
