"Where's Jisung?" Chan asked as soon as Hyunjin came closer.
"Hello to you too!" he rolled his eyes. "He went to his room. I asked him to stay with me for a while and he decided to go and take some clothes for himself." He explained and looked down at his phone in his hands.
"And Minho? If he's there?"
"I asked him if he's sure about it, he was. And he texted me that he's not there, so.."
"At least that..." Chan smiled and started walking somewhere.
"You didn't tell me what do you want me to help you with."
"Well, I was struggling to find the perfect present for Felix and I found a board that he will like and I ordered it. But the thing is that he gave me another idea and I want to go with both, actually."
"What do you mean?"
"We were talking about the holidays and I asked him if we were going to visit Australia and our families. My mother already asked his parents to make a family dinner. So, they will be together and we're going to be the only missing people if we don't go there and he was like "it's like we're married" or he said something like this and I asked him if we were almost married and he showed me his finger and told me that he doesn't have a ring, so that meant that we're still boyfriends." Chan was talking and Hyunjin was imagining the day he would have the chance to propose to Jisung, slowly falling in love with the idea of living the rest of his life with this dumb awkward squirrel.
"So, you're going to propose to him?"
"Yep, on Christmas. In front of our families." Chan chuckled.
"Aren't you scared that they might not like it?"
"They will. They love the way that we're together since we were fifteen years old, like... We were together before that too, but we were actually not realizing it. When we were kids, after our first kiss, one day Felix told a girl that I'm his boyfriend and he doesn't like girls. And I was everything he needed and wanted, he was okay if I was there. We had three ears that we were going to different schools, but our houses were like next to each other, eh, there was one house between ours, but we usually spend the time together after school. Our parents were okay with that and I'm sure that they knew where this shit was going to end."
"You're blessed with someone that loves you that much and with a family that's on your side."
"Speaking about it, what are you going to do for the holidays?" Chan asked, approaching the street with most stores on it. "I mean..."
"I will be with Jisung and his family. I didn't want to be a burden or something, but He asked me with his puppy face and how can you not agree with it?" he asked and Chan laughed.
"One day I was mad at him and he did that to me. And guess what? I wasn't mad anymore! He's literally so cute when he acts like the innocent puppy he will never be." Chan laughed again. "We can see what do they have here." He said, pointing at the store.
"Only silver? You want it to be silver, or..."
"He wears silver. One day his mom bought him a golden bracelet and he wore it two days before leaving it in his drawer. He has a lot of jewels and he's a maniac for this, so if someone wants to buy him something and he doesn't know what - the jewelry is the right answer. Also, he's kind of obsessed with wearing earrings, so..." He entered the store and Hyunjin came in after him. They looked around and Chan saw a nice ring. "Wow..." He smiled and the seller came closer.
"How can I help you, mister?"
"I'm searching for an engagement ring."
Hyunjin came closer and took a look.
"Mister, this is the men's section..."
Chan raised his head and smiled. "I know. It's for a man."
The seller look at them and asked Hyunjin, "Are you the..."
"Oh, no..." He chuckled. "I'm helping." He laughed a bit and took a deep breath. "This one?" He asked and Chan looked at the other that Hyunjin was pointing at this moment. "I see you have a really good relationship and..."
"I prefer the ring to be with a diamond."
"So," the seller started and took a small box out of the showcase. "These are with diamonds. And I have unisex that is with diamonds too. That's it, not many men rings have diamonds." He said and Chan smiled looking at one of the rings.
"This one looks perfect for him." He pointed at it and Hyunjin bent over to look at it.
"Sure, he would like it."
"He would love it!" Chan laughed. "What's the price?"
"4424880 Wons," the man said. "I can..."
"What? That expensive?" Hyunjin asked, but Chan smiled and said that he's taking it. "Where do you have that much money?"
"Savings. It was for something else, but I don't care."
"Cash or..."
"With a card." Chan nodded.
"Man, I literally eat once a day so that I can have money till the end of the fucking month and..."
"Well, my grandparent has a business, but this money is from my savings. When we were in Australia Felix used to cook for us and we didn't buy lunch in school. Now he cooks sometimes because he's not okay with the oven here." Hyunjin smiled.
"I don't know how I couldn't see it. I looked at him like he was a whole person and now I know why he's a whole person because he has his other half."
"I hope that you and Jisung will have what we have. He really feels good with you and I don't know how his relationship with Minho was, because he told me recently, but he's a different person now. You're making him calmer." Chan said and nodded at the seller, taking the ring.
"I don't know, what I know is that he told me he's falling in love with me. And one more thing I know, I would do anything to be with him." Hyunjin said opening the door. He looked at the store in front of them and saw a big teddy bear. He smiled and turned to face Chan.
"I want to see what's the price of the teddy bear, can we?"
"Sure."
