Minho sat on one of the seats and looked at Jeongin. He took a deep breath and took the menu in his hands. "I will get the milkshake, you?" Minho asked Jeongin.
"Probably the same. What's up?"
"Nothing much. Where are the others?" Jeongin rolled his eyes.
"I texted them, Chan's still on the field training, Jisung is with Hyunjin, Seungmin left me for Changbin. It seems like we're gonna be alone tonight." Jeongin said and stood up from there. "I will go to get the milkshakes, okay?"
"Sure." Minho nodded. Maybe it was only in his head, but Jeongin really looked like he's not okay with Seungmin going out with Changbin. But what should be the real reason? He didn't know, but he wanted to. Maybe today will be the first day that they will talk more about themselves.
When Jeongin came with the milkshakes, he gave one of them to Minho and sat back at his place. "I can see you're a little off these days." Minho glanced at him, drinking his drink from the straw. "I mean, you're not that quiet, but recently you're not speaking much. And also, I can feel that you and Jisung have problems."
Minho didn't dare to say a word. He was scared that if Jeongin knew about them and what really happened, the whole school will get to know about it. Not because he was going to tell anyone, but because Minho telling people about his sexual orientation was the first step of everyone knowing his secret.
"See, I don't know what's happening with you two, but if you want to talk with someone, I'm here," Jeongin said.
"It's really nothing. I'm sorry that you felt me like that." Minho said and looked away too ashamed of himself. "What's up with you?"
"I hate Changbin," Jeongin mumbled and took a deep breath. "Now I don't even have a friend."
"I am your friend, you can tell me what's up."
Minho saw Jeongin and Seungmin distant these past days. MAybe Changbin was the real problem, or something else. "It's nothing, really."
But Minho didn't stop. He needed someone else's problems so that he can forget his own. He looked at the table for a while, thinking of a way to make Jeongin tell him something.
"I'm in a trap, in love and broken." He mumbled finally. "I'm waiting for the prince and he's not coming. He doesn't even see me, I'm trying to scream so that he can come and rescue me and he's not hearing my screams." Jeongin finally said. "I'm sorry, I... I said that I'm straight because I really wanted to be in this gang. I'm not straight, I'm bisexual."
"You're bisexual? I mean... Are you sure you're not just gay? I have a friend that..."
"I'm sure." Jeongin nodded. "I had girlfriends, and I met him and I knew I was falling in love, but I couldn't deal with it. Now nothing really means anything."
Minho was on a junction. He was really not sure what to do. Does he have to tell his only friend that he's in love with a guy that broke up with him and now he can't really do anything, because that guy's already with another man? Or he has to leave it like that and hear about Jeongin's problems in order to forget his? Or he has to just leave before it's too late?
"I don't know what to say," Minho said.
"I know you probably hate me. First, for lying, and second ... I don't belong here." He stood up and looked at Minho. "I was never meant to be here. I'm not straight, I don't have a place in this gang." He gulped and went out quickly.
Minho didn't even think about it. He ran behind him and when he got closer, he started talking.
"I don't think that everyone's straight. Chan's fucking his roommate and I think he's just gay." Minho said trying to make Jeongin look at him. "Not only him. Jisung is literally hitting on Hyunjin."
"But my prince is," Jeongin said. "And that doesn't even help much. I can't think straight when he's close to me and he will never know."
Minho looked around and kissed him out of nowhere. Jeongin pushed him away and looked at him. Minho didn't do anything but kissing him again, this time Jeongin kissed him back and after a few seconds, he pushed him away slowly.
"What..." He started, but Minho bit his lip.
"Sorry, It thought that you're waiting for me..." HE mumbled.
"What? No!" Jeongin sighed. "Seungmin." He mumbled. "But that doesn't even matter, because he's now with his cousin and he doesn't even remember that we're roommates." Jeongin sighed and made a step back. "Why would you think that it was you?"
"I'm so sorry, Jeongin. I'm... My situation is fucked up too." he mumbled and Jeongin nodded. "Jisung broke up with me," he mumbled again. "We've been together for almost a year now and I..."
"Seungmin was right. So, maybe there's only one straight person in the gang straight kids, right?" Jeongin started laughing. "It's all fucked up. From the day Chan started this shit, till now. It's all a fucking shit." he sighed. "When Seungmin told me that he's going to be in the gang, I wanted to be there too, because I needed to see him more often, and now what? There's no gang at all." he sighed. "Chan's missing more these days, Changbin is overwhelming Seungmin with these family shits and there's me, still wanting to have more time with a guy that will never look at me that way."
"And I had him, but he broke up with me because I don't want to tell anyone about us. Now Hyunjin's closer with him and I don't know if it's only me, but I can see Jisung falling for Hyunjin." Minho sighed. "I miss the days that Hyunjin will yell at Chan for hours at the field when Jisung would just cuddle because he was cold when I would be able to laugh at his stupid jokes. I... How this even got that fucked up?"
"I don't know," Jeongin whispered.
