"What do you think of this one, Amity?" Luz had drawn a glyph on a piece of paper, tapped it, and out came a shard of ice.

"That's actually impressive, Luz! I'm really happy to see you learning more than just the one light spell." Amity complimented, getting a warm smile in return from Luz.

It had been two days since Amity had left her household and to be honest, she hadn't felt this happy in years. She was finally in a place where the people around her loved her for who she was, and genuinely enjoyed her company. Amity learned a lot in the past few days: who she wanted to be, who were her real friends and who weren't, and a bunch more. Though when it comes to friends she still seems to be at a standstill with Willow. She knew repairing their friendship would be hard, but with time, anything can heal.

"So, Amity," Luz broke the warm silence, looking at the young witch beside her. "Are you ready to go? Do you, y'know, really wanna do this?" Hearing the words come out of Luz's mouth made Amity stop for a moment as she instantly became nervous as well as anxious. She had completely forgotten that today she was gonna have her and Luz go and try to retrieve some of her belongings from her home so she can stay with Luz and have clothes with her besides the one outfit she wore and her school uniform.

"I don't know, Luz. On the outside, i-i'm nervous and stressed beyond stressed, b-but in actuality, i'm really scared to go back, even for just a minute."

"I get that, and it's really okay to be scared, but we can do this together! I wouldn't let him hurt you in the slightest, Amity. I promise." Luz said with a smile, hoping that what she said would ease her tension even in the slightest. Truth be told, it did. It made Amity feel just a bit more confident in her and Luz going to retrieve her stuff with no worry. "Oh yeah, and don't forget that Eda will be coming with us but will be staying with Owlbert in the sky. She gave me the code word so if there is any trouble, I just gotta shout it, okay?" This gave Amity just a bit more of the clearance she not only needed, but wanted. She knew she could and would be safe in the hands of Luz, she just didn't understand why she had been so scared after all of the support and care she was already given, but she wasn't just gonna let it ruin her spirit. She knew her and Luz could do it, she knew, but that didn't stop her heart from beating faster than it already had been.

"O-Okay, I got it. W-What's the secret code word again, Luz?"

"Just yell 'hooty' and she'll step in. Doesn't matter how loud you say it, she'll just know."

"Alright, Luz. W-Well, let's get ready, shall we?" Amity said, wanting to get s move on before she loses her confidence.

"Get ready we shall!"

"King? I'll be going out for a while with the girls. Promise me you'll watch over the house?"

"No!"

"Kiiing?" Eda pressed her hands against her hips, making her voice sound more stern as she stared the little demon dog in the eyes.

"N-No?"

Eda smiled knowing she had won. She knew King wouldn't let her down and that was the main reason she left him in charge. There was no way in all of the Boiling Isles that she was gonna let Hooty be in charge so King was her best bet. "Good boy, King. I'll be sure to bring you back some donuts."

"Ooh, ooh, with sprinkles!"

"Yes, yes, I know, donuts with sprinkles. Now, watch the house and make sure nothing gets ruined or destroyed. You know what to do if someone from the guard tries to do anything while I'm out. Just remember to press the button."
