"Listen, Lilith. I don't want anything stopping me from what I am looking for. This is the most work I could have possibly put in for something I never wish I needed and I'm not gonna let you get in my way." Eda said, slowly losing her patience, pulling out Owlbert. "I don't want to fight you. You're my sister, for crying out loud." Eda exclaimed this last part with a pained expression, one that shocked Lilith slightly. This surprised her because Lilith hadn't known that Eda still really cared about her. Eda didn't know Lilith was the one to curse her, but ever since they were on bad terms because of the Emperor's Coven, Lilith thought Eda would show no mercy.

"Eda.. I-" Lilith tried to reason with Eda until she had cut her off before finishing.

"Look. I got two kids to get home to right now, alright? I'm not trying to lose focus here." Eda said with a strain in her voice, busting through Lilith's barrier. This genuinely caught Lilith by surprise as she only knew of Eda mentoring Luz.

"You have... two kids to take care of? Since when? I thought it was only that human you watched."

"She has a name you know, and it's Luz. Learn to start using it." Snapped Eda. "And I got the Blight's youngest kid. Amity, I think it was?" Eda tried recalling her name but even though she said it, she felt as if she was wrong.

"Wait, wait. You said you had Amity at your house? What is she doing there?" Asked Lilith in a frantic manner. "Eda, that's my protégé! Why didn't you let me know? Why isn't she at Blight Manor?" Questioned Lilith, true concern in her voice. She dropped her dangerous aura and Eda took her time to listen to what her sister had to say.

"Well, she's been all over Luz lately and they had a bit of a fit back at the Manor to the point where I had to be called in. Who knew Alador and Odalia cared so little about her? Kinda heartbreaking if you ask me." Eda recalled back to the night she had to confront Amity's parents while helping Luz and Amity get the things they needed.

"What happened, Eda?" Lilith took a step closer to her sister, but Eda coiled back not wanting to fall for a possible trick but to be fair, Lilith looked as if she was completely depleted of the fighting energy. "Please, tell me she's okay!" Pleaded Lilith, something Eda thought she wouldn't see her sister act like.

"She's fine from what I know. Luz has always been there to protect her so she didn't let Amity get hurt that night and she did what she promised to do which was to protect her." Explained Eda, being proud of what kind of person Luz has become. Ever since Luz had come to the Boiling Isles, Eda could only see her as a ball of inspiration that could make anyone happy if she had really tried. It gave Eda the push of motivation she had wanted as well as desired because to be frank, things got a little boring and tiring around the Isles with it being just King and herself. She'd never been more proud.

"Oh thank god." Sighed Lilith in a fit of relief. "Eda, I ask of one thing from you." Asked Lilith quietly, averting her gaze to her sister's. "Please lead me back to the Owl House and bring me to Amity." This question put Eda in a fit of panic and alert being careful of what was being asked.

"You do know what you're asking of me, right? You're asking me to bring you to my house. Me, a wanted lady, giving you, someone who works for the Emperor, my home and location?" Eda backed away from Lilith slightly noticing the hurt look in Lilith's eyes as she did so. It never occurred to Eda how much her sister could care for a being besides herself and the Coven as a whole, let alone it be a child.

"Eda, you don't understand! I've done so much with her being my student, her being my protégé!" Exclaimed Lilith, starting to get antsy and anxious. "Eda, she's like a daughter to me! Please, just let me see that she's okay!" Lilith was now begging to see Amity, a side that no one had ever seen Lilith come to. Eda was stuck and she tried looking to King for advice on what she should do.
