IGNORANCE
Ignorance is one among the common trends,
Fueled by ego and pride combined,
Tearing bonds apart into the littlest of shreds,
Leaving unremarkable memories all the way behind.
Its perpetrators play the role of a novice,
Acting up like nothing is ever brought to their notice,
Unrepentant in all their ways to convince,
Making excuses even if it means crossing restricted boundaries.
Its victims soak up in the pool of regrets,
Eyes opened to one of the numerous shock of reality,
Hurt by the heartlessness of these unreasonable sets,
Abysmally devastated by the unimaginable disloyalty.
Ignorance betrays trust,
Ignorance leads to hate,
Frosty for as long as it can take for anything it cost,
Leaving all to wallow in the pool of their own fate.
