A THREAT CALLED INTELLIGENCE
Flying so high and deeper into the sky,
The view of the world was well within my sight while being up that high,
I should be reveling in my success of achieving such great height,
But the deceptions of the world yet again caught my sight.
I saw brothers betraying and killing one another,
Mauling and maiming just to prove superior than the other,
The race for power becomes a hapless pool of bloodbaths,
The different view on religion continues to give rise to psychopaths.
Why should different racial backgrounds lay bitter siege on each other?
I've seen animals of different species greatly tolerate one another,
One question makes me curious and adventurous like being a missionary,
Is the high intelligence we possess as humans our greatest adversary?
Peace is all we need to progress,
There's no good result in deciding to oppress,
If animals can be well coordinated like they are,
What's stopping us humans from being more reasonable and on par?
