SANDY ASSUMPTION
If sand was time,
I'd travel through centuries and millennia without paying a dime,
Go with the flow of every type of wind that exists in the world,
Fix all the sorrows life had made me pass through within and abroad.
If sand was life,
I'd do all I can to make good use of my strife,
Blow my way to a fruitful place like the saying that life goes on,
Always ready to move on again if the fruitfulness of my location becomes dead and gone.
If sand was success,
I'd gather my laurels in excess,
Use the phenomenon of its existence to my advantage,
Turn my crumbling world around for good and stepping out in vintage.
If sand was all humans needed to survive,
Would the less-privileged ever be allowed to join the thrive?
With greediness and bloodshed a potential disaster,
I think it'd be better to let sleeping dogs lie and let the sand remain its own rightful master.
