RAIN FOR THE BEST
Never waste your tears on people who wouldn't do the same,
People who wouldn't stand for you or take it upon themselves to defend your name,
Their wave of existence isn't worth a drop of your rain,
Their kind of lifestyle could be likened to that of a moving train.
Don't give away your tears over things that are not entirely constant,
There are over a million reasons why things turn out so unimportant,
You can't continue to obstruct your view with clouds of disappointment,
Not every giggles and jingles end up unblemished in the story of achievement.
Why do you continue to let your thunder rumble over vessels of dishonesty?
There's no point getting your weather troubled and feisty,
It's normal for the sky to pour down its water to make a very big ocean,
It's abnormal for you to let loose your tank over those that want to make your life nothing but a miserable fun.
Not all you encounter in life last forever,
Not every situation is worth brooding over,
You're either on the winning side of the world,
Or on the crooked and twisted angle of its sword.
