GRATITUDE
Whenever I look back at my past,
I see how far I've actually come,
The road had been rough with a blast,
The effects explain the kind of man I've become.
The world had not been friendly,
Neither had it been hostile,
Most important thing was living humbly,
With the hope that everything would eventually be fertile.
So many sleepless nights of tears,
So many countless encounter with worries,
Into my soul they bite due to the negativities surrounding my ears,
Transported heavily within me like massive lorries.
Still I throw up my hands and look onto heaven,
Show my appreciation to God for keeping me alive and safe,
Through the struggles and pain this mundane life had given,
Can't thank Him enough for reviving a lost soul locked away
