ALL LIVES MATTER
Circling around like a hungry vulture in the sky,
The gore related to taking lives caught my eye,
Astonished by the level people would attain to see others lose their lives,
Total annihilation is work in progress like the construction of numerous bee hives.
I see black lives torned off like unwanted clothes ripped apart,
Xenophobic attacks in their stride have led to countless categories of spat,
Lives of soldiers being sacrificed in warfronts at the expense of greed and power,
The sweetness uniting the world has suddenly gone sour.
Scary nightmares arise from all horizons,
The inevitable is having a swell time with unimaginable add-ons,
Poverty and hunger teams up on the less-privileged,
Nothing had been done still to curb them all as they surge on and spread.
Pandemics keep striking,
Racism keeps spiking,
With the lust for power keeping the world from being better,
The uprisings finally confirms that all lives truly matter.
