TRIP TO THE ABYSS WITHIN
I took a slow trip to hell last night,
Behold the thoughts that filled my head were as dark as night,
Depression mixed with anxiety was just a start,
The other things that follow scored more than a baseball bat.Is what I need a miracle or to get wiser?
The questions scrambled in my head was making me bother,
Miracles don't happen without prayer,
Things beyond the focus of the eyes are always involved in the course of getting wiser. All I saw in this darkness were losses,
Everyone were intensely busy with their crosses,
Curiosity wouldn't let me resist to know more,
Safety made me desist from the horrific gore.Is this what it feels like to be trapped inside one's head?
Straying around the dark abyss like a night bird,
No opened exit available in sight,
Only way to always escape the hell is to stand and fight.Temitope Omotoso
