FRUSTRATION ON HOPE'S STREET
"All would be fine" are all we hear,
Blind hope when the world is not fair,
A world where equity is a major concern,
A world where hard-work is of less discern.
"All fingers are not equal" are more like a ringback tune,
Confused expectation when nothing seems to be coming soon,
Expectations seasoned with nothing but false hope,
Expectations when you can't even make yourself cope.
"No condition is permanent" has become the new anthem,
Words so wrongly placed like a seamstress bad hem,
Motivational words that means nothing in the face of impartiality,
Dead hope that doesn't change the unfair causes of mortality.
Frustration has yet come out to stay,
The hard struggle for greatness looks not to pay,
You can't sell dreams to someone who's been through a whole lot of nightmares,
His own life knows no hope anymore except to being fierce.
