PRIDE GOES BEFORE A FALL: THE SPIDER & THE SNAKE

In the notorious waves of breeze that surrounded the thickness of the forest,
The creepy crawling spider came in contact with the belly crawling snake,
With both a little farther off each other in what seem to be a staring contest,
There seem to be like there was going to be some sort of enormous take.

THE SPIDER:
"Cut out the stare and your obnoxious hiss,
Why are you snakes as ugly as hunger-ravaged fleas?
Always thinking your species pose a whole lot of threat with your predictable skills,
Thinking you all are miles up with the ability not to ever hit a miss".

THE SNAKE:
"You arrogant eight-legged freaks,
Always so full of yourselves like the sharpness of every eagle's beaks,
Believing in your attacks as prominent among the best of sneaks,
Only to end your lives in between your predator's licks".

THE SPIDER:
"Look who's trying to start a brawl,
Crossing my path and laying claim to be superior with your empty call,
When all your whole life you've been cursed to make use of your belly to crawl,
You are probably going to feel the wrath of a painful fall".

THE SNAKE:
"Though we both share common purposes as crawlers,
As well as being a part of the world's deadliest killers,
Don't ever get excited thinking we both are still similar when it comes to being brawlers,
We both can't be ranked the same way in the league of world's dangerous slithers".

As the battle for supremacy continued with both not ready to relent,
The spider was suddenly picked up by a falcon as the dry shrubs fiercely rustle,
The startled snake let out a loud laughter to the spider's predicament,
Only for it to be suddenly snatched up by a fierce hawk flying by without much struggle.

No matter how big or small an individual might look to another,
Pride shouldn't overshadow the respect that is to be displayed,
Life is too short to deliberate on who the best is over the other,
The inevitable could suddenly pop up anytime to make the rules regardless of who gets outplayed.
