GOLD DIGGERS
With their ragged feathers like hungry vultures,
They ply their trade through so many ventures,
Circling round in a bid to bear down on their kills,
Scavenging is top priority to sorting out their bills.Appearing too normal to be human,
Their detective skills and mental alertness are more efficient than that of a dobberman,
Learning things that even their victims don't know about themselves,
Locking it away within like artifacts shielded within shelves. They pretend to be who they're not,
Rigid and stiff like a very entangled knot,
Externally good and preferable for anyone to want more,
Internally rotten and extremely desperate to the core. They spit out venom in form of words,
Use blatant lies to condemn people to their swords,
Unnoticeable from a long way off,
Cowardly scramble away when their missions become difficult and rough.Temitope Omotoso
