IF ONLY WE LISTEN
If only we listened to the soft whispers of the wind,
Avoidable would have been the case in terms of the wrath of the fiend,
Pain would have been averted,
Normalcy wouldn't even be converted.
If only we listened to the clatters of the rain,
Chaos would have been at bay while peace reign,
Sudden misconceptions wouldn't pop up with surprises,
The world would have been a better place with its numerous disguises.
If only we listened to the strict strokes of the sun,
Easy it would have been for is to find out where it burns,
Betrayals and the likes wouldn't have their places amongst our lives,
Life would have been so easy without incurring problems similar to the wrath of intruding on bee hives.
If only we paid attention to what life was telling us,
The queue leading to success wouldn't be long as that of passengers getting in a bus,
Attention needs to be paid anywhere we go,
Sometimes it's just better living life on very strict low.
